the idea is that newfags eventually catch on to the fact that fighting against whatver they see as useless or nasty or evil posts is just wasting more bread and adding to the noise, of which there is plenty - and that is not a bad thing. it is part of the defense mechanism, and maybe i shouldn't be saying this so obviously, but if it can help a few pass that barrier, it won't be wasted.
