It's a shame your parents tolerated it and the abbot / bishop (the diocese always knows…) don't you think as all the other adults must have known? It does make you wonder doesn't it about how these people are even accepted into their respective vocations and how are they formed whilst there?
You know if I were the enemy what I would do? I'd get inside the admissions process whether colleges, west point, seminaries, police academies, immigration…and you know what else? The means of communication. I'd certainly want to have and to hold that. Got to keep everything compartmentalized. Nothing like crushing the dogma out of a wee trusting soul than by association of dogma with the evil actions of those supposed to be the most dogmatic of all.
