My ancestors saved Christmas cards. Somewhere in my boxes of family treasures, there's a Christmas card they received from relatives in Germany; circa 1890's.

That card had a swastika on the front. The swastika had a different meaning back then; a symbol of love and unity, hence the inclusion on the front of the card.

Perhaps the symbol and the Nazi concept was hi-jacked back-in-the-day.
