Police: Assistant Principal Broke into Student's Home to Look for Prescription Pills

 

n assistant principal in Michigan is facing charges for allegedly breaking into a student’s home to search for prescription pills, police said.

Authorities said Amy Buchanan, who works as an assistant principal at Smith Middle School in Troy, staged a home invasion in a student’s home to search for the pills after dropping the student off at the home earlier in the day, the New York Post reported.

 

Security footage allegedly showed Buchanan, 47, ransacking through drawers and a purse inside the home. The home security system alerted the owner and authorities of motion inside the house.

In 1987, Kelly transferred to the Basic School in Quantico, Virginia, serving first as the head of the Offensive Tactics Section, Tactics Group, and later assuming the duties of the Director of the Infantry Officer Course. Outrage follows this decision by judge in Muslim compound child abuse case

 

The judge in the New Mexico Muslim compound case issued another decision Wednesday that has resulted in public outrage.

 

“It’s beyond reason.”

 

Judge Emilio Chavez dismissed charges of child neglect against five suspects over a technicality that prosecutors failed to follow.

 

Judge Chavez said he had no discretion in the matter, since suspects have the right to an evidentiary hearing within 10 days of being apprehended in order to establish probable cause.

 

The three suspects to be released are Lucas Morton, Subhannah Wahhaj and Hujrah Wahhaj.

 

The other two suspects, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj and his partner Jany Leveille, were immediately charged by prosecutors on new charges of child abuse resulting in death. Along with the eleven children found living at the compound in squalor, police discovered the body of a three year old who had gone missing and died in the care of the suspects.

 

The two suspects are accused of neglecting to provide proper medicine and health care to the boy, and other children from the compound allegedly told police that he was subjected to rituals to cast out demons.

 

The 10-day evidentiary rule was imposed by the state supreme court. Prosecutors now have the choice to refill the charges, or seek a grand jury indictment against them.

 

The deceased three-year-old, Abdul-ghani Wahhaj, was being sought by police since his disappearance in Georgia.

 

“Ought to be impeached”

 

Republican actor James Wood summarized some of the public reaction to the judge’s decision, saying, “This is so stunning, it’s beyond reason.”

 

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee put the blame on the judge for following the law, instead of the prosecutors who failed to hold the required hearing.

 

“Judge ought to be impeached,” Huckabee tweeted. “Basically rules it’s okay to kidnap, kill, imprison, and train kids to be mass murderers.”

 

“Disgusting! Were the kids’ lives worth NOTHING to this jerk judge?” he added.

Colorado voters will have a chance to decide in November whether to block drilling in most of one of America’s largest oil and gas producing states.

 

The Colorado secretary of state’s office said Wednesday that opponents of oil and natural gas fracking had obtained sufficient signatures to put the issue on the November ballot.

 

The measure would ban drilling within 2,500 feet of homes, schools, and “vulnerable areas” such as playgrounds. Currently, Colorado requires oil and gas wells to be located at least 500 feet from buildings and 350 feet from recreation areas.

Democrats cave, handing Trump a major victory – and liberals are angry about it

 

Some on the left expressed anger and outrage as Democrats in the U.S. Senate showed that they put much more of an importance on one thing over defeating the legacy of President Donald Trump – their vacation time.

 

Here’s what happened

 

The Republicans controlling the Senate cancelled their scheduled August recess in order to pursue legislation in advance of Trump’s and their agenda.

 

Rather than stay and fight by using parliamentary procedures to stall and possibly block some of them, Democrats decided to cave on his judicial nominations so that they could go home.

 

Even progressive news outlet Huffington Post called it a “major win” for Trump and McConnell, whose “No. 1 priority is filling up federal courts with conservative judges ― many of whom are incredibly anti-abortion, anti–LGBTQ rights and anti–voting rights.”

 

“It is pathetic.”

 

Brian Fallon, Schumer’s former chief spokesman, denounced the move by Democrats.

 

“Trading this many lifetime positions away for a couple days back home in the dead of August is a metaphor for how myopic the Democrats’ approach has been at this dark moment in history,” Fallon said.

 

An entire branch of government is being lost for generations, and Senate Democrats are willfully blind to it,” Fallon continued. “In the coming months and years, these same Democrats will issue outraged statements about the rulings issued by the very judges that they could not be bothered to try to slow down. It is pathetic.”

 

A top aide to former Senator Harry Reid (D-Nev.) also blamed the leadership of the Democratic party for their misplaced priorities, and explained why it helped Trump.

 

“This comes down to leadership,” tweeted Adam Jentleson, “Senate Dem leaders could take a stand and station one senator on the floor at all times to object, forcing McConnell to jump through interminable hurdles & produce 51 votes – twice – for each nominee, likely resulting in fewer lifetime Trump judges.”

 

Michael Avenatti, who gained fame as the lawyer representing Trump accuser and adult film worker Stormy Daniels, excoriated the Democrats for giving in to the president.

 

“This is exactly what I am talking about when I say Democrats don’t have enough backbone and fight,” he tweeted.

 

“Why would Dems help Trump take over the federal courts when we may be on the brink of a constitutional crisis?” he added. “We must fight Fire with Fire!”

 

Avenatti says he is actively looking into possibly running for president in 2020.

 

Republicans are happy

 

Republican Senator Marco Rubio, on the other hand, enthusiastically praised the advances on his social media account.

 

“Cancelling August recess resulted in the most productive Senate work period in recent memory. Today alone we confirmed seven more judges & 27 executive branch nominees,” he tweeted.

Just so we are clear, my grandfather and uncles fought in WWII, my father served with honor and distinction as an Army officer for 30 years.  The same father who prevented me from joining the military after 911 because I was motivated by hate and anger that my friends were  deployed because they didn't have a choice in the life and had to join the military as a last result.  Some of these friends never fucking came back. FBI Refuses To Confirm Or Deny ICIG Warned Of Clinton Server Intrusion

 

The FBI won’t disclose whether it met with senior officials of the Intelligence Community Inspector General.

TheDCNF confirmed that the ICIG briefed top bureau officials on three separate occasions to warn the FBI of an “anomaly” they found 30,000 in-bound and outgoing emails.

The anomaly showed a code embedded in Clinton’s server was producing in real time a “courtesy copy” to a third party.

 

The FBI refuses to disclose whether or not it met with senior members of the Intelligence Community Inspector General on the subject of foreign intrusion of former Secretary Hillary Clinton’s private server.

 

An FBI spokeswoman refused to confirm if Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) officials — including Frank Rucker, its chief investigator — briefed top bureau officials about evidence of penetration of Clinton’s private server by a Chinese government intelligence operation. “We have no comment,” she told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

 

Earlier Wednesday, an FBI spokesman released what appeared to be a categorical statement about the Clinton server: “The FBI has not found any evidence the servers were compromised,” the FBI stated.

 

The statement does not address a central aspect of TheDCNF’s reporting, which was that the ICIG briefed top bureau officials on three separate occasions to warn the FBI of an “anomaly” they found 30,000 in-bound and outgoing emails. The report is based on an intelligence official with direct knowledge of the matter. The anomaly showed a code embedded in Clinton’s server was producing in real time a “courtesy copy” to a third party.

 

The third party was a Chinese state-owned company based in Northern Virginia just outside of Washington, D.C., and was part of an ongoing Chinese government intelligence operation, according to two separate sources with direct knowledge of the matter.

 

According to one source, the last ICIG briefing was held in June 2016 about a month before former FBI Director James Comey stated that he did not recommend any indictment of Clinton for mishandling classified materials.

 

Comey in that widely reported July 5, 2016 press conference stated he did not find “direct evidence” that Clinton’s email domain was successfully hacked.

 

He added, “we assess that we would be unlikely to see such direct evidence” and that, “We do assess that hostile actors gained access to the private commercial e-mail accounts of people with whom Secretary Clinton was in regular contact from her personal account.”

 

“Given that combination of factors, we assess it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton’s personal e-mail account,” Comey told reporters at the news conference.

 

Before the FBI’s statement, Presidential Donald Trump tweeted on the subject. The president posted his first tweet on the subject on Tuesday night:

Russia is renouncing the dictate of the dollar by purchasing gold and selling US Treasury bonds, according to an article published in Die Welt. With another round of US sanctions, these gold purchases have accelerated. However, Russia has cut its US Treasury holdings even faster recently. In May 2017 the Treasury still peaked at $109 billion, by this summer there were barely a tenth of that — $50 billion, so Russia's shift from treasuries to gold will protect the Russian economy better against the new sanctions, that is a tactical shift.

 

There’s something else going on with the dollar, I believe that's strategic, the concern that Russia has steadily increased holdings since the global financial crisis in 2008, the US debt limit crisis of 2011 and several subsequent rounds of US sanction against Russia. The pope’s enemies were “throwing mud” to try to discredit him, he said.

 

The allegations against Pope Francis were first aired in the middle of his trip to Ireland, where he apologised for the Church’s decades of complicity and cover-up in the sexual abuse of children by Catholic clergy. Archbishop Vigano claims that he told Pope Francis of the allegations about Cardinal McCarrick, whom he described as “a serial predator”, back in 2013. He said that rather than punish McCarrick, the Argentinian pontiff had lifted sanctions imposed on him by his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI. It was only last month that Francis removed McCarrick as a cardinal, ordering him to live a lifetime of penance and prayer, after Church officials in the US found that allegations that he sexually abused a 16-year-old boy were credible. The Pope has not addressed the allegations directly but told journalists on board the papal plane returning from Ireland to Rome to "read the communique attentively and make your own judgement.”

 

In his weekly address in St Peter’s Square on Wednesday, Pope Francis spoke about the sins committed by the Church in Ireland but did not mention the accusations levelled against him by Archbishop Vigano. The de facto leader of the conservatives who are deeply unhappy with Francis’s five-year papacy is Cardinal Raymond Burke, an American. A traditionalist, he has accused the Pope of causing confusion with his remarks about homosexuality and giving Communion to divorcees who remarry in civil ceremonies. Cardinal Burke said on Wednesday that the allegations levelled against the Pope by Archbishop Vigano were “very serious” and had left him “speechless”. “I believe we now need a full response from the Pope and the Vatican,” he told La Repubblica newspaper. Calling for the pope to resign was “legitimate” if it was proved that he had made “grave errors” but the matter needed to be properly investigated, Cardinal Burke said. “I have nothing personal against the pope. I’m simply trying to defend the true faith and the clear presentation of the faith.”

I had no idea what it means, but apparently it is a classification stamp that means "No Foreign Nationals" are supposed to look at this document or whatever. Another extremely good read regarding mycoplasm. Recently I saw a video where someone swished 100% pure cranberry juice for 3 minutes then spit it into a clear glass bowl. *Corporate profits are hitting records. The stock market was up over 250 points on Monday. Most every stock index hit record highs.

 

*The Atlanta Fed now predicts booming 4.6% economic growth in the 3rd quarter. That’s after Wednesday’s upward revision of 2nd quarter GDP to 4.2%.

 

*And at global online gaming sites, more people are betting on Trump’s re-election victory than all his opponents combined.

 

That was all before President Trump announced a United States-Mexico trade agreement. Because Trump talked tough and never gave in, US workers will benefit. US carmakers will benefit. US manufacturers will benefit. US taxpayers will benefit. Trump did it. He won. We all won. Trump announced he will terminate NAFTA.

 

While we don’t know all the details yet, I guarantee this new trade deal will save us tens of billions, perhaps hundreds of billions of dollars over the next decade. Since the wall with Mexico costs about $25 billion, Trump just forced Mexico (whether they know it, or not) to pay for the wall. Once again, Trump accomplished what establishment politicians of both parties said could never be done.

 

But with Donald J. Trump there are no such words as “never” or “impossible.” Trump has chutzpah. Trump has cajones. Trump aims for the moon. Trump is combative and aggressive. Trump is driven to do what others say cannot be done. Trump is an eternal optimist. He accepts nothing less #WINNING. I call those traits “The Trump Rules.” He proves they work every day!

 

You can bet he’s gotten Mexico to pay for the wall- his #1 promise of the election. You can bet we will now begin building the wall. Just as I knew his popularity would go up after the terrible week of guilty pleas and nonstop media assaults last week.

Dad, partner plead not guilty in toddler's compound death

US files WTO lawsuit against Russia over import taxes on American goods

 

Washington has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) against tariffs imposed by Moscow on some US imports, the trade body confirmed on Wednesday.

 

According to Russia’s economy ministry, Washington has misinterpreted the measures taken by Moscow, explaining that Russia complies with the WTO regulations.

 

“The United States misinterprets the nature of the measures taken by the Russian side. We are acting within the framework of the WTO Agreement on Safeguards, which allows compensating for damage from special protective measures taken by another country,” the ministry said.

 

In July, Russia raised tariffs from 25 to 40 percent on a number of US products in response to Washington’s levies on Russian steel and aluminum. Moscow appealed to the WTO to resolve the metal tariffs dispute.

 

Russia's retaliatory measures, targeting $87.6 million worth of US goods, covers just a minimal part of Russia’s estimated losses of $450 million due to US metal tariffs. They include certain types of road construction machinery, oil and gas equipment, metalworking and rock drilling tools as well as optical fiber.

 

Moscow will reportedly impose further tariffs on $450 million worth of US imports if the WTO rules the US tariffs are illegal. Under the current rules, the $87.6 million in tariffs is the maximum amount a country can levy without the WTO decision.

 

Earlier this year, the White House slapped a number of trading partners with tariffs of 25 percent on imported steel and 10 percent on imported aluminum. They include Russia, China, India, the European Union, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Turkey and South Korea. Washington explained the move was due to national security concerns. However, several countries affected by the levies have launched WTO complaints, accusing the US of protectionism.

 

Apart from the trade dispute, Moscow and Washington are involved in the worst diplomatic crisis since the Cold War. Over recent years, the US has imposed several rounds of sanctions against Russia over a number of accusations. They include involvement in the conflict in eastern Ukraine, reunification with Crimea, alleged US election meddling, a purported violation of sanctions against North Korea and alleged nefarious activity in cyberspace.

 

Moreover, the US State Department has recently banned the issuing of loans to Moscow, and US exports of weapons and dual-use products to Russia. The measure reportedly came amid Russia’s alleged involvement in the poisoning of former double-agent Sergei Skripal in the UK back in March.

Europe working on payment system alternative to SWIFT & IMF to attain financial independence from US

 

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas says Europe has started work on creating a system for money transfers that will be autonomous from the currently prevailing Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT).

 

“That won’t be easy, but we have already started to do that,” Maas said at the annual Ambassadors Conference in Berlin on Monday, as quoted by RIA Novosti. “We are studying proposals for payment channels and systems, more independent from SWIFT, and for creating European monetary fund.”

 

Maas also announced plans to reveal a new foreign policy strategy towards the US.

It is based in Belgium, but its board includes executives from US banks with US federal law allowing the administration to act against banks and regulators across the globe. It supports most interbank messages, connecting over 11,000 financial institutions in more than 200 countries and territories.

 

In May, the Russian Central Bank’s governor, Elvira Nabiullina, said that the country had created a national system for money transfers that could protect its banking from a potential cut off from SWIFT transfer services. The step was triggered by the seemingly endless anti-Russia penalties introduced by Washington since 2014 for various reasons, including the reunification with Crimea, alleged involvement in the military conflict in eastern Ukraine, alleged US election meddling, and the alleged poisoning of former double-agent Sergei Skripal in the UK.
