That's one of my ideas but I know they still have those capabilities. Ringing/popping in the errors, very slight muscle twitches last night. Just enough to let me know they're still there.

I don't think so. A long time ago they showed me they can turn the system completely off so I don't think there should be residuals. I don't know the nature of the tech so I can't really say. I'd rather have some level of it just so I know that when it finally stops it means it was shut down.
