Could the darkened lines at the top and bottom be part of an SMS notification bubble? Look carefully where it says "NEW MESSAGE".

Is it possible she was composing her facebook post and got this SMS which popped up as a notification bubble? She tapped away from it perhaps? Is this how an iPhone works with notifications???

Just a guess.

Fuck. Someone reply to me here if I'm making any sense.

is it possible this photographer took a burst of photos and she was being texted this terrible message and it showed up as a NOTIFICATION BUBBLE "NEW MESSAGE" on her screen. She tapped away to it and the picture you see if part of it fading away.

We need the rest of his raw burst images.

DOES THIS MAKE SENSE, ANYONE?

You don't think that looks like a notification bubble that popped up on her screen? It says "New Message" and is overlaid clearly on top of what she was writing.

Yeah, you're probably right - if that isn't some kind of notification bubble popup then it's gotta be doctored. She must be composing an email actually, hence the Cancel/Send. Those darkened bars are so very weird.
