i got a beautiful kid and another on the way and im balls deep in wanting to make america great again wanting to embody that in myself and this movement is literally keeping me alive but

WHY CANT I KICK THIS SHIT

Don't know how to reply from other breads. Anon, I am 20 years sober. It is hard to stop drinking if one is an alcoholic. I did detox, intensive out patient, and AA. AA is for life. Still go to meetings. Still have to be reminded I cannot drink safely like 'normal' people. I have found a higher power and try to stay connected. This is a physical and mental illness with a spiritual solution. I need help not only from a higher power but also from other alcoholics to stay sober. I cannot do this by myself. I highly recommend AA as a path to continued sobriety.
