Rockets Launched at Libya's Only Working Airport
Local sources report that rockets were falling and on and around Mitiga Airport in Tripoli on Tuesday, causing fires.
Reuters also reported that commercial flights from Egypt to Tripoli were diverted to the city of Misurata in northwestern Libya after rockets were fired near Mitiga Airport.

Afghanistan, 17 Years Later: U.S. Progress Stalls as Taliban Gains Ground
Nearly 17 years after the Afghanistan War began, there are few signs of progress and indications the Taliban is increasing its hold onto power in Afghanistan, despite continued U.S. support for the Afghan government.
Over the last two years, the Afghan government has lost control of ten percent of Afghanistan’s districts, according to data gathered by the government watchdog Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR).
The Taliban, over that time, gained five percent more control of districts, and now contests five percent more districts, according to SIGAR.
The Afghan government fares slightly better in terms of control over the Afghan population, another metric commonly used to gauge progress: control of 65 percent of the population. However, that was down from 69 percent in August 2016.
Meanwhile, the Taliban gained three percent control over the population during that time. The percentage contested by the Taliban has waxed and waned over the two years but stayed roughly around 23 percent.

Soderlund has since left the company, most likely for his derisive comments toward fans, players participating in the open have found even more SJW propaganda embedded in the game.
Players posted screenshots on Reddit from Battlefield 5's open beta showing that certain words like "white man" and "Nazi" are censored in the game's chat while words like "black man" or "Asian man" are not. The censorship is so outrageous that fans have begun referring to the game as "genderfield" and "censorfield." Curious these decisions are being approved by higher-ups at the company while pre-orders for the game are down 85%.

Sen. Collins rejects liberal ‘bribe’ attempt in Kavanaugh vote, says they’ve stooped to ‘new lows’
Republican Sen. Susan Collins is considered one of the GOP lawmakers who could conceivably vote against the appointment of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. As a result, liberals are trying to threaten her financially.
Collins wants nothing to do with that. The Maine senator blasted both the idea of crowdfunding money to sway her vote, and also the people behind the idea, according to Hot Air.
“I consider this quid pro quo fundraising to be the equivalent of an attempt to bribe me to vote against Judge Kavanaugh,” Collins said.
The funding campaign is organized by the Maine People’s Alliance and Mainers for Accountable Leadership.
What’s happening?
Collins is referring to a large-scale crowdfunding effort by which liberals have raised about a million dollars to influence her against Kavanaugh.
But if she does what they want, it’s not like she’ll get any of that money. Rather, if she votes against Kavanaugh, the GoFundMe campaign will refund all the donations to those who contributed. If Collins votes in favor of Kavanaugh, however, the $1 million or more will be donated to the campaign of Collins’ 2020 opponent.
“[Kavanaugh] is committed to overturning Roe v. Wade,” the message to Collins reads. “Kavanaugh cannot be nominated – he would mean bankruptcy and danger for millions of families in Maine and America. The people of Maine are asking you to be a hero, Senator Collins.”
Collins brushes off the threat
Collins said she won’t be bullied into voting one way or the other by the threat of financial support for her future opponent, although she didn’t give a hint on how she would ultimately decide.
“This effort will not influence my vote at all,” Collins said. “I think it demonstrates the new lows to which the judge’s opponents have stooped.”
Even though the group is not saying they’ll pay Collins for her vote, there are questions about whether it is a type of illegal bribe.
“It is certainly raising the specter of whether or not this violates the United States criminal code to prohibitions against attempted bribery, by linking official actions to monetary reward,”attorney Cleta Mitchell of Foley & Lardner told Newsmax .
