Recently Q has posted references to Red October, or Hunt for Red October.

I know a lot of you have been trying to link this to the classic movie, but lets consider another angle.

Whatever they were looking for has been found.

Lets take a bit more of a literal stance here. Q is very likely referring to October of this year, when Midterm Elections are not just in full swing, but ripe for the colloquial "October surprise".

Or lots of 'October surprises"

A Red October is the push to make sure that the elections go exactly one way, into the hands of the Republicans to prevent obstruction of the plan.
