Why wasn't it documented in the US until 1993
250,000 people in US died last year from sepsis
I personally know 8 people that have died in the last 3 months from sepsis. Went into hospital for various reasons and never came home-they got sepsis while in hospital. When visiting one such friend in ICU- 7/10 people in our ICU had sepsis. Two of the 7 were kids! WTF is going on???? Scary shit!
