>I am employed by a Pharma company. This is disconcerting. We have routine ethics training.
As someone who has successfully conducted R&D from cells to human trials within academia and who has worked extensively with big pharma, the corruption is not with the "rank and file" so much as it is with those at the top - the white collar psychopaths that run the business models, decide which products go to market, along with the lobbyists, patent attorneys, and the regulators at the FDA who looking to land a 6 figure salary working as a regulatory consultant in big pharma someday. The rank and file in big pharma are mostly good people, but like most of the rest of the population still live within the delusion that we need a medical establishment and that all other forms of healing are worthless, which is bullsh!t.
