Part 1 of 2

Another perspective on Strzok/Page new text messages from Sundance over at ConversativeTreeHouse. Encourage all to read the article (link below). Here is the twitter thread (short version).

  1. Don't be gullible. Don't allow yourself to be victimized and mislead. Why are we getting new text messages now?

  1. Don't play their shell game. There is no pea. Who had control over these Peter Strzok messages prior to this week?

  1. The "Administrative State" participants protect themselves. There is no altruism within their motives or behavior; only self-interest. So… Why were they (whoever they are) waiting to release these Strzok messages and emails?

  1. There are no Trump allies within the establishment system, only adversaries. Who benefited from withholding those emails and text messages?

  1. Generally speaking, the only time good people are wrong about DC politics is when they lessen their cynicism, ignore their instincts, and project altruistic motive through a prism of false-hope. It's unfortunate, yet true.

  1. Those of immoral constitution within the corrupt apparatus of the administrative state know that hope is the inherent weakness of moral people. They use a willingness of good people to extend "benefit of doubt", as a tool while they scheme.

  1. Don't play the shell game. There is no pea. Don't chase the shiny message. Instead ask questions. @RepMarkMeadows : Exactly where are these newly released messages and emails coming from? If he cannot answer, or will not answer that simple question, it's a con.

  1. OK sorry, not the end. Sometimes I forget not everyone has followed the nuance and granular details as close.

  1. Expanding. There is no altruistic motive in withholding these messages. There is only an illicit motive; a 'protect the administrative state' motive; a corrupt motive.

  1. Keep in mind the IG of the DOJ has not previously seen these messages. If he had they would have been referenced within either, likely both, of the prior reports. Especially the IG report on FBI conduct.

Part 2 of 2

  1. So these emails and text messages were not an outcome of "keeping evidence close to the vest" for some grand latter investigative usefulness.

  1. And by the timing of their release, they appear conveniently dropped into the period when all political investigative matters are put on hold.

  1. Meadows has a current motive for releasing them; which appears solid. He's bolstering a case for declassification of the FISA warrant.archives.gov/isoo/policy-do…

  1. But my question is, where is congress (if that's who is releasing them) getting them from?

  1. These texts and emails would have held greater value earlier in the year prior to the questioning of Lisa Page & Peter Strzok. [and to a lesser extent Bruce Ohr] They would also have been of great value to IG Horowitz during his 17 month investigation. So where were they?

  1. Which circles back to the start of this thread. Given the current calendar, the questions about the origin of the messages/emails is actually just as important as the content.

  1. But in everyone's zeal to discuss the content (well understood), no-one is asking simple questions about their discovery….. Likely within those uncomfy questions, is a much more concerning story about the year-long concealment. ie. the background story.

  1. Generally speaking, the only time good people are wrong about DC politics is when they lessen their cynicism, ignore their instincts, and project altruistic motive through a prism of false-hope. It's unfortunate, yet historically true.

  1. Likely @RepMarkMeadows (if that is the origination for the current media) was given them because they no longer represent a threat. They were withheld, as customary for the Potomac-two-step, until the explosive nature of their appearance was diffused.

  1. My guess would be: the calendar determined the scope of risk. Now the dates are behind them, the threat has diminished and the corrupt elements can release them because they are no longer as significant a risk. We are inside the mid-term window.
