THE SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD

Here's an idea for MEGA (Make Earth Great Again.) We have all heard about the Seven Wonders of the World, but six of them no longer exist. I know I'm thinking too far ahead but bear with me. Imagine the symbolism: the triumph of the builders and lovers of the earth over the dark destroying forces, if the six Wonders could be rebuilt. Imagine the Colossus of Rhodes standing over the harbor; the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Light over darkness. Unity over division. Could a constructionfag say if it would be possible to reconstruct, say, the Colossus of Rhodes? Why should it be the norm that we should lose our world's beauty over time? Let's turn that around.

That's my point. We HAVE chosen not to rebuild the Wonders. Darkness and division over the past millennium. Things may be very different soon.

As of 2015, there are tentative plans to build a new Colossus at Rhodes Harbour, although the actual location of the original remains in dispute. (Wikipedia)

It stood 108 feet high.
