Get at least 3 mini sawyer water filters. Online at amazon or wallmart. Good for 100,000 gallons and remove 99.9% of the normal bad shit.
Keep one in you house, car, and whatever. They're cheap. Water is more important than food.
Prepping is another conversation. But these mini filters are a no brainer.
