What I like about Q's 'riddling' format is the opportunity to get his 'wall of text' riddles and post a complete answer to his latest infodump(s), then read other people's ideas and try to synthesize.
My biggest criticism of the way qresearch is laid out is that there are very topic-specific threads. I'd prefer a few threads on chronological 'chunks' at least in addition to the subject-specific, depth-first threads. Q's way of bringing together disparate ideas seems more of a breadth-first exercise.
