To believe that they are "dirty" is to believe that they've duped Trump for the last 18 months and, even if they didn't dupe him, he let 2 dirty cops run the show for all this time when he could have simply fired them. If they're "dirty" the Ds can always claim that the investigation is illegitimate, which makes no sense.
