Bombshell: Environmental activism groups operating in the USA may actually be front groups run by communist China

Congressional Republicans are working hard to get to the bottom of what appears to be a major scandal that could forever taint the reputation of so-called “environmentalist” groups operating in the United States.

As reported by The Daily Caller, a number of big names in environmentalism would seem to be working on behalf of the communist Chinese government, using environmental protection and “Save Endangered Species!” rallies as cover for a sinister, anti-American agenda.

Republicans from the House Committee on Natural Resources reportedly sent their fourth letter to an environmental group known as Earthjustice that evidence suggests has direct ties to foreign governments, including that of China.

Because Earthjustice has been actively involved in trying to stop the U.S. from establishing a military presence in the city of Okinawa, Japan, claiming that the site of the proposed base would harm the “dugong,” an endangered marine mammal, House Republicans say that Earthjustice needs to register as a foreign agent.

“The Committee is concerned that your organization’s political activities within the United States in opposition to the relocation of [Marine Corps Air Station] Futenma and the continued military presence in Okinawa may require compliance with” the Foreign Agents Registration Act, reads a portion of a letter sent by House Republicans to Earthjustice president Abigail Dillen.

The Center for Biological Diversity is similarly suspect in terms of being tied to communist China

The letter to Earthjustice follows a similar one sent by House Republicans back in June to the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD), another “environment” group that’s expressed vehement opposition to the relocation of the U.S. military base, known as Futenma, to Okinawa.

FBI Rounds-Up 8 in LA Child Porn Distribution Ring

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has now arrested a stunning eight pedophiles in a raid that spanned Los Angeles, California, in the Department of Justice’s Operation Safe Childhood.

Federal charges have been brought against the eight pedophiles, who were arrested by members of a multi-agency task force involving the FBI and Homeland Security aimed at fighting the production of child pornography.

The charges involve the victimization of minors, including crimes of collecting child pornography from the dark web, the United States Attorney’s Office announced Friday.

“These cases involve acts of depravity against vulnerable young people, many of whom will continue to be victimized as photos documenting their abuse spread across the internet,” U.S. Attorney Nick Hanna said, adding that the “perceived anonymity” of the internet cannot shield child predators.

“Whether they create new images or collect videos, they can and will be caught,” Hanna said.

On Thursday, the FBI arrested two of the pedophiles in Lawndale, according to KTLA Channel 5.

Law enforcement agencies worked in unison over the past ten days, in what would become a joint sweep involving Project Safe Childhood, a Justice Department initiative.

Project Safe Childhood is intended to combat sexual exploitation and abuse of minors.

Christopher Norman Strinden, 57, of Long Beach, is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography he obtained from a now-defunct website called Playpen, which was operating on the dark web. Many of the more than 17,000 images in this case allegedly involve minors under the age of 12, including toddlers.

Nathan Pham, 27, of Long Beach, is charged with both receipt and possession of child pornography obtained through a peer-to-peer network. The possession count alleges he had images involving minors under the age of 12.

Kenneth Rudy Smith, 31, of Lawndale, is charged with one count of possession of child pornography involving victims under the age of 12 that was found during a search of his home.

Justin Schobey, 19, of Canyon Country, is charged with production, distribution, and possession of child pornography. Schobey allegedly used text messages to coerce a boy in another state to produce child pornography.

Jorge De Los Santos, 31, of South Los Angeles, who charged with two counts of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession. De Los Santos allegedly used an online peer-to-peer network to obtain sexually explicit videos depicting young males.

Fernando Vazquez Garcia, 30, of South Los Angeles, is charged with receipt of child pornography, as well as possessing videos he allegedly obtained over a file-sharing network.

The two Pedophiles who were arrested Thursday face a variety of charges.

Nestor Ramirez, 36, of South Los Angeles, is charged with production, distribution, and possession of child pornography.

Victor Manuel Diaz Romo, 53, of Lawndale, is named in an indictment alleging receipt of child pornography over a peer-to-peer network and five counts of possession of child pornography.

the problem in prosecution is determining what someone knew, when they knew, and if there is not proof, it's whether they should have reasonably known that they were complicit, which is most situations. if they are found to be complicit, fear of their life becomes the defense. then you have to prove they actually feared for their life because of threats or accusation of threat. it is not a simple process cause most criminal activity is not officially documented or is discussed like 'pizza' and has to be pinned down as criminal. i thinks it is a big ol' mess.

Mexican Border State AG, Top Cop Resign amid Spiking Cartel Violence

Sonora State Attorney General Rodolfo Montes de Oca Mena and State Security Director for Public Safety Adolfo García Morales resigned on Friday after six police officers were gunned down by cartel gunmen inside 24 hours.

The state government confirmed the resignations in two separate press releases, according to local reports. Both cabinet-level secretaries resigned amid public blowback and a spike in cartel violence across the formerly peaceful state. Both Montes de Oca Mena and García Morales cited personal reasons for their departures and were thanked by Governor Claudia Pavlovich Arellano for their service beginning in 2015.

Sonora is currently experiencing a security crisis with cartel killings occurring daily. The state shares a border with Arizona and New Mexico.

A total of six municipal police officers were gunned down on Thursday. A convoy of cartel assassins attacked the Tactical Operations Group of the Municipal Police in Guaymas, leaving four officers dead and one seriously injured. An unarmed transit officer was also shot and killed as the gunmen fled the area.

On Friday morning, a Hermosillo Municipal Police Officer was murdered by a team of cartel gunmen as he was driving in his personal vehicle while off-duty, according to local reports. The cartel gunmen in two trucks opened fire on the officer, riddling him with rifle shots before fleeing. The shooters were later intercepted by municipal police who arrested five suspects in possession of weapons and tactical equipment. Also on Friday, an Esperanza Municipal Police Officer was wounded by unknown attackers, according to local media. The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening wounds. Esperanza is located within the municipality of Cajeme.

The attacks come after the recent deployment of more than 200 federal and state police personnel, supported by elements of the Mexican Army, to once tourist-friendly Guaymas amid violence and threats of a cartel war. A security alert was issued by the U.S. consulate in Hermosillo, prohibiting federal employees from traveling to the popular tourist zones in San Carlos, Guaymas, and Empalme “due to recent violent criminal activity.” Concerns were raised at the time regarding a possible cartel war in Guaymas over the presumed murder of three operatives belonging to “Los Salazar” within the Sinaloa Cartel. They were vacationing there when they were arrested by municipal police. The trio was handed over to a rival criminal group.

REPORT: Catch and Release Continues Along Arizona Border

Local charity groups in southern Arizona report that “huge groups” of migrants recently apprehended by Border Patrol agents are being released into their care.

Breitbart Texas reported that Tucson and Yuma Sector Border Patrol officials described the illegal crossing of massive numbers of families and unaccompanied minors as a “humanitarian crisis.” The number of these classifications of migrants doubled in recent months. A group of more than 100 migrants showed up at a Tucson church over the weekend, the Arizona Daily Star reported Monday. Volunteers scrambled to set up a makeshift shelter in their gym and provided clothes, food, and toys.

Catholic Community Services’ Teresa Cavendish told the local newspaper that about 700 migrants — including pregnant women and parents with children — appear to be being released by CBP officials as “part of a national directive.”

Cavendish said that Yuma Sector officials were also releasing migrants who are expected to be taken to the Phoenix area.

Breitbart Texas reached out to Yuma and Tucson Sector officials for confirmation of the migrant releases. Due to the Columbus Day federal holiday, a response was not immediately available.

Yuma Sector Chief Patrol Agent Anthony Porvaznik recently told Breitbart Texas, “This is a humanitarian crisis that is impacting border security. Criminal entities are lining their pockets while exploiting a vulnerable population, filling our stations and diverting our national security efforts.”

Flea-Borne Typhus Has Reached “Epidemic Levels” in Los Angeles

An outbreak of typhus has struck downtown Los Angeles. The outbreak has been blamed on the skyrocketing number of homeless people in the area.

According to the Los Angeles County Health Department, 20 cases of the rare, flea-borne infectious disease, which is also associated with poor sanitary conditions and overcrowding, have been recorded in Pasadena alone over the past two months. Health officials now say that the outbreak has reached “epidemic levels,” according to the New York Post.

There are several forms of typhus, (also known as typhoid fever) which is a type of bacterial infection known as the species rickettsia and transmitted by biting bugs (arthropods) such as lice, ticks, mites, and rat fleas. When a person is diagnosed with typhus, it means they are infected with one or more types of rickettsia bacteria. After a bite occurs, scratching the itching bite further opens the skin and allows the bacteria greater access to the bloodstream. Once in the bloodstream, the bacteria continue to reproduce and grow.

According to Healthline, typhus outbreaks usually only occur in developing countries or in regions of poverty, poor sanitation, and close human contact. Typhus is generally not a problem in the United States; however, the outbreak has been declared an epidemic in Los Angeles, a highly-populated deeply dense city with a surging homeless population. Americans used to only need concern themselves with catching the infection abroad, but all that is changing thanks to the socialism of California.

Untreated typhus can lead to serious complications, and it’s potentially fatal. It’s important to see your doctor if you suspect that you may have typhus. Symptoms vary slightly by the type of typhus, but there are symptoms that are associated with all three types of typhus, such as headache, fever, chills, and rash. In rare cases, typhus can cause meningitis or death.

Long Beach has seen 12 cases so far this year, double the normal number. And there have been nine other cases in the rest of the county, NBC News reported. Nationwide, there are only about 200 cases of the disease in an average year, according to the Centers for Disease Control. But the surge in flea-borne typhus appears to have been in response to the number of people living on the streets and in shelters, which has surged 75 percent to about 55,000 in the last six years. “There are lots of rats on Skid Row and there are lots of dogs that belong to homeless people,” Andy Bales, CEO of Union Mission Rescue, told NBC News.

The Los Angeles mayor’s office said the city has “formed a dedicated task force through our Unified Homelessness Response Center to keep Angelenos safe and ensure everyone gets the treatment they need as quickly as possible.” Specifically, they’re looking for “high concentrations of infected fleas and/or infected rats, feral cats and opossums,” reported the New York Post.

Officials in nearby Pasadena scoffed at the idea that the homeless are to blame for the typhus outbreak in their town. They point to the warm summer and fall and residents’ frequent interactions with animals in the wildlife and canyons of the nearby Angeles National Forest.

CA Catholic church to install hideous 40-ft statue of Mary to welcome illegal border-crossers and refugees

The San Diego Union Tribune reports that the statue, named “Welcome the Stranger”, is designed by artist Jim Bliesner who says the statue is inspired by Mary, who had fled with her family to Egypt as a refugee soon after the birth of Jesus, and that “it will stand as a beacon of hope and encouragement for people engaged in the struggle of the migrant.”

The $2 million statue will go up on the hilltop parking lot of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. The project is spearheaded by nonprofit San Diego Organizing Project, and already has $1 million from the California Endowment, a private health foundation. On October 5, “community members” convened to kick off acrowdfunding campaign to raise another $1 million to build the statue by early 2019.

Although the UK Foreign Office has decided to dissociate itself from "irresponsible" media reports, such coverage may seriously harm London’s reputation in the world, according to the embassy.

"This reply by the FCO begs the question on how to treat leaks in the British media containing references to anonymous officials. In case their statements are distorted, let alone fabricated, the government must find a way to react by signaling to the British public and foreign states that it is a matter of fake news. Schools Pushing For Police-Grade Surveillance Technology To “Protect” Students

After the most recent school shooting in Parkland, Florida, schools across the U.S. are installing police-grade surveillance “gunshot-detection systems,” metal detectors and even biometric locks requiring facial recognition or a person’s iris, The Atlantic reported.

Hermosa Elementary in Artesia, New Mexico, has installed a network of wireless microphones that can analyze the audio signature of gunfire.

The devices are placed high on the ceiling in classrooms and hallways to alert authorities of the sound and location of gunshots. They can then identify the make and model of the gun/guns, and automatically seamlessly lock doors and set off alarms throughout the school grounds.

Besides making schools more into prisons with this technology by conditioning children that this is for their safety, the other danger is allowing artificial intelligence to decide when to automatically lock doors.

A horrifying scenario can emerge where the doors lock before students evacuate the room and actually prevents them from escaping a potential shooter.

The company responsible for installing the surveillance tech is EAGL Technology, a New Mexico security company. The technology was originally designed by engineers at the Department of Energy for police.

On a rough estimate, installing EAGL’s system throughout an entire school costs about $25,000. However, EAGL installed Hermosa’s system for free as a test, according to the report. The report added that schools in Texas and Colorado have explored using its system as well.

Seeing as schools are struggling to pay teachers and for school equipment, one has to wonder where the money will come from for this technology?

That’s not the only technology being used in schools, according to The Atlantic.

In March, the Randolph Central School District in New York announced plans for cameras enabled with license-plate-reading technologies, part of its planned $500,000 security upgrade. The cameras would scan visitors’ license plates, then match them to police databases of stolen vehicles and active warrants. And in June, the Lockport City School District in New York allotted $95,000 annually in state grant money for a district-wide facial-recognition system. Provided by the Ontario-based biometrics company SN Technologies, the proposed system would scan visitors’ faces, comparing them against criminal databases and alerting police if there’s a match. Similar proposals have the go-ahead in New Jersey, Wyoming, and Arkansas, where Magnolia School District officials approved nearly $300,000 for the technology.

VACCINES FOR EVERYONE: HPV vaccine expanded for people ages 27 to 45

The HPV vaccine, which has killed several patients (the latest being 14-year-old Christopher Bunch) and injured others, was recently approved by the FDA for men and women from 27 to 45-years-old. The vaccine, Gardasil 9 made by Merck, was previously approved for minors and people up to age 26.

Christopher Bunch’s family announced publicly that he contracted ADEM from Gardasil which killed him.

The virus has many strains and is sexually transmitted. And most adults encounter at least one strain at some point in their lives. But this vaccine, which is supposed to protect against HPV, ONLY allegedly protects against nine strains. Younger people will need two shots, while older people will need three, spaced a few months apart.

“’Today’s approval represents an important opportunity to help prevent HPV-related diseases and cancers in a broader age range,’ Dr. Peter Marks, director of the F.D.A.’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research.”1

(The approval was based on a study in women ages 27 to 45. Some of those women who claimed they were part of that study wrote to us with horror stories.)

The vaccine’s effectiveness in men in those age ranges is merely inferred from the data in women. So yes, they are going to start giving this vaccine for cervical cancer to men who do not have a cervix. Men who have probably already been exposed to the HPV vaccine and countless medical doctors tell me is a really bad idea, to put it mildly.

Although doctors say the most common side effects of the vaccine include soreness at the injection site, swelling, redness, and headaches, thousands more have fainted, developed vertigo, and are wheelchair bound. And some have died. The latest death we know caused by the HPV vaccine is 14-year-old, Christopher Bunch. His father has gone on public record held the shot killed him because he developed ADEM after the shot.

If a person has already been exposed to a particular strain of HPV, the vaccine will not work against that strain which is why countless doctors and scientists we have talked to in the last 48 hours have said that this is a really bad idea to give the shot two adults who were probably already exposed anyway.

Then there are pharmaceutical mouthpieces like this Big Pharma doctor:

“’This is great,’ Dr. Lois M. Ramondetta, a professor of gynecologic oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, said in an interview. ‘It’s a prevention vaccine. The best time to get it is before you turn 13 and have any intimate activity at all. But, that said, it protects against nine types of HPV.’”2(Notice she failed to mention there are many more strains?)

She went on to add, “There is a whole generation of people we were missing who didn’t know about it. Doctors weren’t good at talking about it.”3

Hmmm. Wonder why that is?

She and Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease expert at Vanderbilt University, said people over 26 began asking doctors about the vaccine. Some were leaving marriages or monogamous relationships, expected to begin dating and realized they might be exposed to the virus. Dr. Ramondetta said, “They want to feel protected to some extent. Now they have the opportunity.”4

The vaccine is expected to help prevent oropharyngeal cancers as well, which are caused by HPV and on the rise in men. But again, there is no proof that the vaccine protects against HPV. It is just believed to, but there is no definitive proof.

I have a problem with reynaud's syndrome. It started in my mid-30's.

'Unprecedented' action needed to prevent 1.5C of global warming by 2030

A key report says there are just 12 years to keep global temperatures from rising more than 1.5C above pre-industrial levels.

The world needs an "unprecedented" response to cap warming at 1.5C and time is running out, according to a landmark report.

The Nobel Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change warns that the goal set in Paris three years ago is fast slipping out of our reach.

At the current rate, the world will pass the 1.5C mark as early as 2030 and - at the latest - in 2052, the report says with "high confidence".

To have even a 50-50 chance of staying under 1.5C, the world has to be carbon neutral by 2050, with emissions of carbon dioxide falling sharply from 2020.

But that is a big ask, considering we released more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere last year than ever before.

Parts of the world are already seeing the results - deadly heatwaves becoming more common and islands particularly in the Pacific experiencing rising water levels.

If the temperature rise can be kept under 1.5C above pre-industrial levels, then those impacts - from extreme weather to rising seas - will be less severe.

Cornell University climate scientist Natalie Mahowald, a lead author on the report, said: "For some people this is a life-or-death situation, without a doubt.

"We have a monumental task in front of us, but it is not impossible," Ms Mahowald said. "This is our chance to decide what the world is going to look like."

Other scientists were less optimistic.

Appalachian State University environmental scientist Gregg Marland said: "I just don't see the possibility of doing the one and a half."

Joerj Roeglj, one of the study's lead authors from the Imperial College in London, said the Paris promises were "clearly insufficient to limit warming to 1.5C in any way".

In Paris, countries set two goals: 2C and 1.5C, the latter being after pleas from vulnerable countries. US president Donald Trump has announced he will pull out of the agreement.

The world has already warmed 1C since pre-industrial times and, based on the promises made in Paris, we're heading for 3C by 2100.

The report was prepared by more than 90 scientists and review editors from 40 countries.

It includes more than 6,000 scientific references, 133 contributing authors and more than 42,000 expert and government review comments.

However, he felt certain that somewhere, undocumented in the insert and unavailable to the public, kindhearted researchers must have monitored these infants for many months more because, he admitted, autoimmune disease does not present itself in five days.

Dr. Plotkin argued on record that a well-known study which found the DTP vaccine did more harm than good was of no use in the vaccine safety world, because it wasn’t a randomized trial with a control group. I’ll wait while you think that through because there isn’t an infant vaccine in America that had a randomized trial with a control group—we’re constantly told such a study would be unethical.

My personal favorite admission is when Dr. Plotkin testified that “probably most vaccine reactions” are reported to VAERS, and he was then made to read a study commissioned by HHS that concluded less than 1% of adverse reactions are reported to VAERS.

Stanley Plotkin was forced to admit that over his career he’d tested his vaccines on mentally retarded children, orphans, and babies born to female inmates. He was also cornered into confessing that he’d written a letter to the editor of “Ethics on Human Experimentation” endorsing his practices so that vaccine companies aren’t testing on “fully functioning adults and on children who are potentially contributors to society.”

It’s so much easier to sweep orphans and handicapped children under the rug when they’re injured by vaccines, isn’t it?

Needless to say, the very next morning Dr. Stanley Plotkin withdrew from testifying as an expert witness on vaccines—he no longer felt confident to speak about the safety and necessity of the products that made him a millionaire.
