I was driving through northern Iowa last weekend and noticed that there were way more corn fields than soybean fields this year. Driving into southern Minnesota the ratio flipped. Wife anon wondered aloud if it was coincidence that a red state happened to be on the corn rotation the year that soybeans got caught up in a trade dispute and that a blue state was in the soy rotation. Now i have to wonder even more.
