Corn used to make alcohol can still be used for cattle feed, and it will be superior because its depleted of carbohydrates with all the nutrients in tact. That means cows that are less hungry and beef that is leaner.
Corn is also not in any danger of becoming scarce. Oil companies buy up excess and throw it in warehouses to rot because ethanol is a threat. Furthermore there are non food crops and other high starch vegetables that are suitable to make ethanol from thst grow like weeds and require yield many times more ethanol per acre than corn
