I'd say that the idiocy of burning food ought to be self-evident, but, in fact, Monsanto's Roundup-ready "Franken-corn" isn't actually "food" in a real sense.

 

That aside, 95+% of small engine repairs (e.g. lawnmowers, chainsaws) that we see are from gummed up carburetors due to gas station gas. The only reasonable option is to use ethanol-free gas that goes for 20 bucks a gallon.

 

I hope this is a feint against China, and I am totally down with the plan if this is what is required as a matter of warfare. But I don't like it.

Gumming up is caused by the fact that Harry Homeowner doesn't understand that ethanol-gasoline is only good for 30 days before it draws in moisture and waters down the fuel. And try telling them bad gas isn't covered under warranty. Especially old geezers who say "I've been mowing my lawn since before you were daddy's little squirt."
