What about the massive amount of fuel & energy used to produce oil & gas fuels and then transport them around the world.

Surely it is better to produce the fuel in a field close to where it will be needed & cut out some of the massive transport costs.

Until the late 19th/20th century farmers didn't need chemicals and fertilizers like they are dependant on now.

This dependency is created by advertisers working for the petrochemical giants.

For all the ethanol shills out there you need to know that the earliest cars ran happily on ethanol.

The Ford model T could be run on gasoline, kerosene or ethanol. 177cu/in (2.9litre) & did 13-21 miles per gallon.

If they could run a car on ethanol then without problems then they can run them now.
