If you want to DEEP FRY with coconut oil - you definitely can. It doesn't smoke. It doesn't go rancid.

However, you have to buy the right kind. And the right kind of coconut oil to deep fry with is the most purified kind. The cheap kind. The flavorless kind. The Louana kind you can get at Walmart.

I use both kinds, I use the Louana for deep frying and the virgin unrefined kind for everything else.
