Ethanol is a joke.

Fact: cleaner than gas = true

Fact: Corn must be harvested

Fact: add up time/cost/diesel spent and emitted/conversion process

= Greater emissions than gas.

Corn subsidies help monsanto and help gas companies by allowing them to water down gasoline.

Strategic move vs China? maybe its a help in the short term. POTUS sells ideas and counters narratives effectively.
