I deal with laymen who have the same perspective of it "should have been done yesterday at the latest" and you are right. "Should" is a great word. But you have to deal with a complex reality, not what ".should" be.
You can sell a tv or refrigerator really simply. Not so a house. Large capital transactions require complex procedures to ensure its done right.
Do you want to be on the hook for $300,000 and have no place to live, no way to get a loan, your credit history ruined so you can't even get an apartment to live Ina. No? Well history and other peoples mystery mad the law complex for YOUR PROTECTION.
