That was last weekend, and it was DNS upgrades (or so the story goes).
Should be long since completed by now and Youtube is too big to have not been prepared for that far in advance.
I am told (and can confirm) Youtube works if you use Incognito mode on chrome.
That is, actually, pretty concerning as it suggests authentication issues.
