The report must have identified bad actors, of whom Jamal Khashoggi may have been the middleman brokering the deal which would provide weapons, money, training, and support for a coup. Adnan Koshoggi, Jamal's brother, is famous for being a weapons broker supplying countries and factions around the globe. Since Jamal Koshoggi worked for the Washington Post we can assume he worked for the C_A, since WaPo is the propaganda department of the C_A. Therefore, the death of Jamal Koshoggi was an operation by the Saudi Monarch to eliminate a threat to his rule. WaPo being the loudest voice in the cries for a supposed 'journalist' is more likely mourning the loss of one of the C_A's operational managers.
