Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) called for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to step down Thursday following explosive testimony from Comey confidant James Baker.

Former FBI lawyer James Baker appeared on Capitol Hill earlier Thursday to testify about Rosenstein’s plan to wear a wire and oust President Trump from office.

Rep. Meadows emerged from the testimony Thursday calling for Rosenstein to “resign immediately.”

MEADOWS: Based on additional information we’ve learned over the last week, it is clear Rod Rosenstein should resign immediately.

He has not cooperated with Congress, failed to be transparent about his actions, and shown a lack of candor in the way he’s characterized a number of events.

Rod Rosenstein was a no-show for an interview with Congress last Thursday and he continues to defy investigators’ requests for McCabe’s memos.

James Baker previously told Congressional investigators that Rosenstein’s plot to wear a wire and oust Trump from office was not a joke as the DAG claimed.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein last year spoke with DOJ and FBI officials about wearing a wire and secretly recording President Trump to be able to build a case that Trump is unfit to hold office.

DAG Rosenstein began plotting Trump’s removal shortly after FBI Director Comey was fired, The New York Timesreported citing memos penned by then-Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe.

It is unclear what James Baker said in his testimony Thursday that has Congressman Meadows wound up. The Gateway Pundit will update as soon as more information is available.

NYC Woman Brags About Being 'Abortion Doula' For Over 2,000 Women

Last weekend, the BBC interviewed Vicki Bloom, a New York City woman from The Doula Project, who bragged about assisting over 2,000 mothers to undergo abortions. The so-called "abortion doula" even stunningly admits that many of the women she's "helped" have told her that they wanted to keep their child, but felt they couldn't for economic or other reasoning.

A doula is someone who is trained in assisting women through childbirth and sometimes provides support to the family after the baby is born. But at The Doula Project, a nonprofit founded in 2007 which targets low-income and marginalized women, all doulas must be willing to assist mothers seeking an abortion.

Bloom says helping women, even reluctant ones, kill their unborn children is "most rewarding."

"Making a deep connection, making a difference - and then letting it go - is super-powerful," she told the BBC.

Bloom assists with abortions up to 24 weeks, as far along as a woman can legally obtain the procedure in New York. "I will stand up by their head and be looking into that person’s eyes, ready for whatever they need, while the doctor is doing the procedure," she explained.

Many of the women she attends to speak of their other children, revealed Bloom, noting, "Some people may want to talk about how they take care of their kids to get reassurance that they are a good parent and a good person."

The 50-year-old admitted that many women are conflicted and explicitly tell her they want to keep their children but feel they cannot due to their circumstances, economic or otherwise.

I have been lurking for a long time. Now that the digital censorship is truly beginning, I have some ideas for getting around this. One of them is kniht rorrim.
