Is anyone concerned about virus EV-68 polio-like virus infecting kids?

Since EV-D68 causes respiratory illness, the virus can be found in an infected person’s respiratory secretions, such as saliva, nasal mucus, or sputum. EV-D68 likely spreads from person to person when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or touches a surface that is then touched by others.

Should we prepare to pull our kids out of school? Don’t want to overreact, however I’m suspicious of timing and children as target. Also a suspected mutation of an existing enterovirus to be the origin. Always suspicious of mutations of known virus used as bioweapons.

I’ve noticed it’s difficult to find the exact locations where kids have been infected, and again just looking for grassroots information
