Mexican Woman Laments Trash-Covered Streets After Migrant Caravan Passes Through

Viral video purportedly shows a Mexican woman lamenting how a park in her city was left covered in trash with wasted food and clothing strewn about after a group of migrants passed through.

"This is Juarez street, of the central park, and the migrants left and left us the garbage," the woman can be heard saying in Spanish. "Like we had said before, what a waste of food, when they said they don't even have enough to eat."

"And the fact that they travel to a foreign land, doesn't mean they shouldn't at least be clean and avoid leaving the trash everywhere," she says. "The truth is it's not fair that in place that offered its hospitality, they left all this trash, and the clothes that were so kindly donated, also left strewn."

She continued: "So it begs to question, are they really people that have needs, educated people, tranquil people, clean people? Or is there something else behind this caravan?

Tech Community Outraged after SQLite Founder Adopts Benedictine Code of Conduct

The founder of the world's most widely used database engine ignited a firestorm in the tech community after it was revealed that he had posted a code of conduct for users based on the teachings of the Bible and an ancient order of monks founded by Benedict of Nursia.

Codes of conduct (CoC) have been all the rage in online communities in recent years. The gaming and tech communities, in particular, have grappled with behavior standards for online users in forums where bad behavior sometimes proliferates. While a CoC for users of a forum or email list sounds like a good idea in theory, increasingly they've been used to push social justice talking points and left-wing ideologies. For example, this sample CoC from Geek Feminism bans harassment, which it defines as "Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination [related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, [your specific concern here]."

In response to pressure from clients who were demanding a CoC before they would do business with him, Richard Hipp, the founder of the widely used SQLite database engine, adopted the Rule of St. Benedict as the guiding principles for his community. The move angered many in the tech community — but was applauded by others who are fed up with the distractions CoCs have caused in recent years. The rules encourage users to love God and their neighbors and to forsake overeating, laziness, and grumbling, among other things.

nobody is talking about this, wonder why

President Richard Nixon issued Executive Order # 11647 on February 14, 1972, which created this new country. How did he conceive this reorganization plan? The United Nations passed a resolution that the United States must reorganize into 10 super regions and President Nixon complied by issuing this Executive Order. Obviously, this plan would not have survived the exposure that would have been necessary for Congress to have enacted this plan. Therefore, Nixon utilized the awesome, and often, illegal, power of the Executive Order to create this reorganization.

"An Obama executive order that creates a council of state governors who will work with the feds to expand military involvement in domestic security has stoked fears that the administration is stepping up preparations for martial law.

The order, which is entitled Establishment of the Council of Governors, creates a body of ten state governors directly appointed by Obama who will work with the federal government to help advance the “synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States”.

The governors will liaise with officials from Northcom, Homeland Security, the National Guard as well as DoD officials from the Pentagon “in order to strengthen further the partnership between the Federal Government and State governments,” according to the executive order."

Council of Governors takes shape

Well, Obama's CG is quickly beginning to take shape. According to the Associated Press (AP), "President Barack Obama has selected Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon to serve on an advisory council for defense and national security issues.

"Nixon was one of 10 governors named Thursday [February 4, 2009] by Obama to the newly created Council of Governors.

As I have already written, the creation of a CG should be of serious concern to all liberty loving Americans. That more of us are not as concerned as we should be can be traced to the mistaken belief that the American people have nothing to fear from an overreaching federal government. This is pure folly! As I have said many times, we have far more to fear from Washington, D.C., than from Iran, Iraq, North Korea, or any other potential terrorist state. It is Washington, D.C., — and Washington, D.C., alone — that has the power, opportunity, and propensity to squash our freedom and sell us into tyranny.

As Kurt Nimmo reports, "In other words, with the stroke of a pen, Obama significantly increased the ongoing effort to federalize the states and take control of the National Guard in violation of the now more or less moribund Posse Comitatus Act. Posse Comitatus was effectively annulled by the 2006 John Warner National Defense Authorization Act. The act provides the president with power to declare martial law under revisions to the Insurrection Act and take charge of United States National Guard troops without state governor authorization. Parts of the act were repealed in 2008."

List of regions of the United States

The ten standard federal regions were established by OMB (Office of Management and Budget) Circular A-105, "Standard Federal Regions," in April, 1974, and required for all executive agencies. In recent years, some agencies have tailored their field structures to meet program needs and facilitate interaction with local, state, and regional counterparts. However, the OMB must still approve any departures.
