I HATE the term hate crimes. ALL crime is hate. All of it. If you violate ONE point of God's law, you are violating the entire thing. Even to call your brother "fool" is to commit murder in your heart. The bar is MUCH higher, folks. Much, much higher. But to classify certain crimes in terms of the thought behind them is 1) a denial that all crime is hate-inspired and 2) an opportunity to criminalize all thought. Absolutely inappropriate for Conservatives to support "hate crimes" terminology, from a purely logical point of view. This is part of the sickness in our society, which our side is supposed to be curing, not worsening.
