Seth, um, "gave" WL the emails, yes.
JA knows just about everything about everyone, and can corroborate the evidence in the upcoming trials/tribunals that have already been crafted, and are iron clad, meaning people will be going to jail. There may even be some that meet No Name's fate.
Like Q has said. It's about good vs evil. Regular people do stupid shit that regular people do, but a couple of those regular people made some choices in the past couple of years that has led to all this becoming a real scenario for taking down the cabal. If it helps the mission that people think of them as "heroes" or "patriots", so be it.
Long/short,
JA has a HUGE role to play. Again, read it, and bring yourself to the realization that if JA hadn't done what he did with the insurance files, and gotten his ass snatched up by Trump and Co., he'd be dead already, and we'd never know what was in the files unless the NSA decided accidentally release it all (which they said they would).
