How it works

I believe the dot reflects a calculated probability and at the top (and bottom) of the scale indicates random number generators whose extreme degree of correlation (or non-correlation) is extremely improbable.
Yep. I wonder if instead of merely reflecting the waves thrown off by millions of minds worldwide, it may be reflecting the operation of quantum computers which, by reading quantum bits to perform calculations on them, are changing the state of those bits.
Every bit of matter/energy in the universe is radiating waves in every possible direction, and these waves travel infinitely, with attenuation due to distance.
So the state of the energy/matter at any given point in spacetime is a complex function of ALL the other points of matter/energy throughout all of spacetime, some of which took a long time to arrive here and some of which are more immediate.
Every wave can be composed of a superposition of waves. Additive or destructive, according to its phase and magnitude. Adding all the waveforms arriving at one given point in spacetime, of all different magnitudes and phases and frequencies, is a task that can only be one as a thought-experiment.
But imagine that unusual correlation is taking place, that is measured by these spatially-distributed random-number generators……….
