Ukrainian martial law declaration may be preparation for war with Russia

Imposition of martial law is likely part of the plan, as Ukraine has been increasingly provocative on several fronts recently.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is imposing martial law after his country’s ships faced off with Russian ships near Crimea. The Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovnaya Rada, has at this time not yet signed off on this order, but they are expected to do so.

The martial law status will be in effect from November 26 to January 26, about sixty days.

This happened because Ukrainian ships ventured deliberately into Russian territorial waters near the Crimean Peninsula, apparently not notifying Russian authorities before doing so, though the Ukrainians claim they did warn of their crossing.

RT chronicled the events from the Russian point of view, which we provide here with emphases added:

The waters near the Crimean peninsula were the site of a tense standoff between Russian and Ukrainian ships that involved a chase, some gunfire, and fighter jets, followed by strong statements from Moscow and Kiev.

The Ukranian vessels were sailing between two Ukrainian ports: from Odessa in the Black Sea to Mariupol in the Azov Sea. The only waterway that connects these is the Kerch Strait between Crimea and mainland Russia. Kiev says it notified Moscow in advance that its navy ships would be sailing through the area. Moscow denies that it was given warning.

While both Russia and Ukraine have freedom of navigation in the Kerch Strait under a 2003 treaty, there are detailed technical rules on how vessels should pass through the narrow, complex waterway. All traffic in the area is controlled by the Crimean sea port of Kerch, and every ship should contact the facility, report her route and destination, and receive permission to sail through the Strait.

At around 7am Moscow time (4am GMT) on Sunday, two artillery boats and a tugboat belonging to the Ukrainian Navy crossed the Russian maritime border in the Black Sea and headed to the Kerch Strait.

These ships had not followed the procedure, said the Russian Federal Security Service responsible for maintaining order at the border.

From the moment it was announced that Jeff Sessions was resigning as attorney general, to be replaced by the far-lesser-known Matthew Whitaker, the mainstream media began pushing a narrative that President Donald Trump is preparing to fire special counsel Robert Mueller.

Trump critics are convinced what the country is seeing right now is a slow-rolling repeat of the infamous “Saturday Night Massacre” of the Watergate scandal. President Richard Nixon, who was desperate to stop the probe before it reached the White House, ordered Attorney Gen. Elliot Richardson to fire special counsel Archibald Cox. Richardson refused, and resigned. Deputy Attorney General William Ruckelshaus also resigned, rather than follow Nixon’s order.

It then fell to the solicitor general, Robert Bork, to fire Cox. Nixon’s desperate gambit to stall the Watergate investigation failed to save his presidency, and he resigned from office shortly thereafter.

Using the events of 1973 as their template, some Trump critics are assuming that Sessions was ordered to fire Mueller and he refused, which led to his being forced to resign so that a more compliant person could move into the post. So, it’s assumed that Whitaker is Trump’s personally handpicked attack dog who will do whatever the president commands him to do.

This hysterical narrative assumes that Trump sees Mueller and his team as a real threat to himself and to his administration. For two weeks now, anti-Trump forces have loudly beaten the drum that Muller mustn’t be fired under any circumstances. Outgoing senator—and fierce Trump critic—Jeff Flake of Arizona has thus far made good on a promise to not vote to confirm any more judges until the Senate brings to the floor an unconstitutional bill he authored that literally makes it impossible for Mueller to be fired—by the president, by the attorney general, or anybody else.

This narrative depends on accepting the belief that the Mueller team, which has been leaking like a sieve for more than a year and a half, has found real solid evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with the Russians but has managed somehow to not leak it to the news media. And, in addition, that Trump is growing increasingly desperate to stop the investigation before that evidence is publicly revealed.

Washington has a leak culture. It would defy belief that the Mueller team has had in its possession, for even a few weeks, a smoking gun that would supposedly bring down a presidency, and that it didn’t leak that information. Any reporter that could get their hands on such a smoking gun and break the news would instantly enter the history books. So would their source, who would instantly become the new “Deep Throat,” the inside official in the Watergate scandal that brought down the Nixon presidency.

Well, the conventional take is, as usual, wrong. Once again, Trump has the mainstream media looking in the wrong direction and unprepared for what is about to actually happen.

Many decades ago there was a famous UFO author/researcher/filmmaker who also remarkably enough also was the creator of a long lasting children's show that is still referenced today. He wrote it and wrote the music and was quite the polar opposite from his UFO passion. Apparently someone in the government was a fan of the show and when he realized what the creator's main passion was decided to help him out. He gave the creator access to all of the government UFO files and film footage in order to film a documentary. At some point, a higher up found out what was going on but decided it would cause more of a stink to stop everything, so they let it proceed - with one caveat. The film footage the government was going to allow him to use and which he had seen was not going to be allowed in the movie. It basically killed any chance the documentary would be a success because the whole premise of it was leading up to the footage which apparently was jaw dropping.

Fast forward a decade and the creator reconnects with a movie producer. This producer has done some things, but is mainly known for being the sibling of a permanent A++ list director who at the time was an A+ list director but still fairly new to the business. The UFO guy and the A+ list director had worked on a film together a few years earlier where our UFO guy told some tales, but the director really didn't believe it all. Anyway, the UFO guy and the producer reconnect and start working on a movie that was so cheap it shared a set with a movie that featured the exact same plot line with different actors filmed a few years earlier. The thing is though, the UFO guy told the producer the same stories he had told the director a few years earlier. This time though, he dropped a bombshell. He had made a copy of the film the government gave him to use. He had taken a film camera and secretly filmed the scene when it was showing on a screen from a projector manned by a military officer.

Our UFO guys shows the footage to the producer who then gets her sibling to view it. The director decides he is going to use the footage in a new movie he is set to make. The government finds out about the footage and cuts a deal with the director. They will give him access to things he can use in all his films whether it is money or technology or ideas the government is working on. He can see the prototypes and incorporate them into his movies. It is why he has always focused on science and the future and aliens and the paranormal in addition to family fare. Apparently as part of the deal, he does have a copy of that footage. A clear copy.

POTUS Donald Trump did two things last week that were vitally important for the safety and security of our country, as well as supportive of the rule of law.

He gave U.S. military forces deployed along the border with Mexico permission to use lethal force in support of Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection agents attempting to keep thousands of migrants from crossing illegally into the country. And he said he would have no problem shutting down the entire U.S. border with Mexico if it meant protecting the integrity of our boundaries.

Developments over the weekend indicate that a growing number of mostly male, military-age migrants — who already number in the thousands with more arriving near the border all the time — plan to rush the border at various points in an attempt to overwhelm U.S. security and military forces.

This comes on the heels of an agreement reached between the U.S. and the incoming Mexican government under Andrés Manuel López Obrador to keep migrant asylum seekers in Mexico for the time being.

As noted by The Epoch Times, more than 5,100 mostly Honduran migrants are currently crowded into a migrant camp in Tijuana, Mexico, near the U.S. border in southern California. The news organization even posted a video of migrants in the camp who were lining up for food:

“The line for food just outside the camp confines. Free meals are served at 10am and 5pm. There are 5,150 migrants now at the camp in Tijuana,” the news site tweeted.

Luke Rosiak, an investigative reporter for The Daily Caller, made the observation on Twitter that women and children are suspiciously missing from photos and videos taken at the camp.

As TGP reported in October, Tom Arnold issued a thinly veiled threat to President Trump in a series of tweets.

Tom Arnold got triggered over president Trump’s comment at a Montana rally wherein he made a joke about Rep. Gianforte body slamming a liberal journalist.

First, Tom Arnold challenged President Trump to a fight at “any rally” between now and the midterms.

Tom Arnold said, “I’m pretty fat myself, but yeah I’d kick his ass buddy” in response to a Twitter user who said “Tom, he out weighs you by about 300 lbs, but i would still bet on you.”

Tom Arnold then took his rhetoric and threats to the next level when he responded to a Twitter user who said Kathy Griffin should officiate the fight between him and Trump.
