Mueller Connected to Manafort, Podesta Brothers and Russian Front Group in the Ukraine… But No Recusal?

The leader of the corrupt and criminal Special Counsel in Washington, Robert Mueller, is connected to Paul Manafort whom he is prosecuting.

He is also connected to Manafort’s business partners in the Ukraine – the Podesta Brothers – who are connected to Hillary Clinton – and a Russian ‘foundation’ in the Ukraine labeled the Party of Regions.

But, for some reason, only Manafort sits in solitary confinement?

The Washington Examiner reported in July 2018 that [emphasis added] –

Tony Podesta, founder of the now-shuttered Podesta Group and brother to former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, has been offered immunity by special counsel Robert Mueller to testify against former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, according to a report.

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson announced on his show Thursday evening that two separate sources confirmed the offer.

“In other words, for a near identical crime, Bill and Hillary’s friend could escape and emerge completely unscathed while Paul Manafort may rot in jail. Only one of them made the mistake of chairing Donald Trump’s presidential campaign,” Carlson said.

Manafort and Podesta’s firms worked together in a public relations campaign for the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine nonprofit, which was believed to be backed by the pro-Russian and oligarch-funded Ukrainian political group Party of Regions. Sources who spoke with NBC News in October said the Podesta Group became of significant interest because it may have violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act. FARA states Americans who lobby for foreign governments, leaders, or political parties must disclose their activities with the Justice Department.

However, someone tipped off the creepy Podesta brothers, because just before the Mueller arrested Manafort, the Podesta Group filed a number of forms retroactively.

EU Proposes Widespread 'De-Dollarization' Initiatives

In the most blatant and transparent reaction to Washington's continued vassal-ization, the European Commission has reportedly formulated a plan to reduce the role of the dollar in international trade.

Amid increasing tensions between Trump and various European leaders (cough Macron cough) and the ongoing threats of sanctions and tariffs, the European Commission plans to outline initiatives to develop the international role of the euro, according to a draft document obtained by Bloomberg.

As Viktoria Dendrinou reports, the plan has three dimensions including the European financial sector, the international financial sector and key strategic sectors such as energy…

“Member states should promote wider use of the euro in relations with third countries in field of energy, including in contracts within the framework of bilateral and multilateral international agreements,”

“The Commission calls on member states to include in their intergovernmental agreements with third countries a model clause, developed by the Commission, related to the use of the euro as default currency”

“Participants in European energy markets should use more energy-related contracts denominated in euro”

“Price reporting agencies should facilitate the launching of euro-denominated price benchmarks for crude oil”

“Commodity exchanges should facilitate the further development of euro-denominated derivative contracts on crude oil and refined products”

With Russia actively de-dollarizing, along with Iran, and China slowing its Treasury purchases (while publicly proclaiming support) but promoting its petroyuan contracts, Europe's shift away from the petrodollar could be more posturing or could be the end of the beginning of the end as the dollar's reign as reserve currency ends slowly at first then all at once.

Ukraine Urges NATO To Send Warships To Confront Russia

Still bound and determined that the maritime incident last weekend in the Sea of Azov portends a full-scale war with Russia, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko called on all NATO nations and other allied states to start relocating warships en masse to the sea to “assist Ukraine” in a conflict.

Trump laments ‘crazy’ US defense spending & arms race with ‘rivals’ China & Russia

You may think the person bragging about how much money his policy is giving to the Pentagon would be the last person to complain about it. Think again. Donald Trump called this defense spending hike “crazy!”

Under the incumbent US president the country has made a sharp turn towards a more aggressive foreign policy. He reversed the Obama-era limitations on defense spending, pushing a multibillion hike in the military budget for FY2018 and FY2019 through Congress.

Trump’s administration also passed a number of key national security documents like the Nuclear Posture Review and the National Military Strategy, which stated that a confrontation with Russia and China are primary goals for the US military.

Yet, there is a critic in the White House, who apparently thinks little of these accomplishments, which the Trump administration showcases at every opportunity. His name is Donald Trump.

The US president unleashed a barrage of tweets on Monday, starting with describing his meeting with China’s President Xi Jinping at a G20 summit in Argentina as “an extraordinary one” and “a BIG leap forward”, and ending with an “I have a dream-esque” vision of Xi, Russia’s Vladimir Putin and himself ending an arms race.

This tweet however doesn’t seem to be a signal that the US may downsize its military to a scale that wouldn’t surpass ten other biggest defense spenders combined.

Too bad. Just think of what could be done if resources were freed up this way. The Mexican border wall. A moon base. National healthcare and paid maternity leave.

May Refuses to Publish Brexit Deal Legal Advice

Theresa May has refused for over a week to post the legal review of the Brexit agreement she signed. Instead she posted allegedly "sufficient" excerpts on which Parliament could make a decision.

According to the Guardian, the excerpts "will be sufficient information for any MP to make up their mind on the legal aspects of the deal before the upcoming five-day debate, and that it keeps to the protocol that full advice is seen as confidential between lawyer and client."

Thus, Trump made an educated guess. And he guessed correctly. Because the leaked document proves May is a bald-faced liar.

Damning Assessment of May's Lies

BrexitCentral offers this assessment: Leaked Commons legal analysis of Brexit deal vindicates Trump, contradicts May and adds to Brexiteers’ concerns.

The Government is already on the rack over its refusal to publish the legal advice provided on the Brexit deal by Attorney General, Geoffrey Cox, despite a parliamentary motion ordering it to be done. But ministers now face further questions as it emerges that a confidential analysis of the Withdrawal Agreement by the House of Commons’ own expert legal team comes to the same conclusion as President Trump – that Theresa May’s Brexit deal would prevent the UK from entering trade deals with countries such as the US.

The bombshell is contained in a 27-page legal note prepared by the House of Commons EU Legislation Team, which is headed by Arnold Ridout, its Counsel for European Legislation. A highly respected specialist in EU Law, he has previously worked for the EC Commission’s Legal Service and advised the European Secretariat of the Cabinet Office and prior to taking up his current role in 2014, he was Deputy Legal Adviser to the House of Lords EU Select Committee.

The note – marked ‘not for general distribution’ and obtained by BrexitCentral – is dated 26th November and states that the UK-EU customs union which would come into effect if the backstop is triggered “would be a practical barrier to the UK entering separate trade agreements on goods with third countries”.

This is in direct contradiction to the Prime Minister who has insisted that her deal will allow the UK to have an entirely independent trade policy.

The legal note also appears to suggest that the Prime Minister’s claim (also repeated last Monday) that her deal “takes back control of our laws” by ending “the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice in the UK” with “our laws being made in our Parliament, enforced by our courts” does not entirely stand up to scrutiny.

Another section in the document which caught my eye concerns what happens when the proposed Joint Committee (of representatives of both the EU and UK) which supervises the Withdrawal Agreement and the backstop cannot reach a consensus on certain issues:

“Both UK and EU are represented on the Joint Committee, so no decision may be made without the UK’s agreement. This may not be the same thing as the two parties having equal power, as the aims of the parties will matter. If the Joint Committee is unable to reach a decision, in some circumstances, that will block next steps. The party that wants those next steps to occur, will then be at a practical disadvantage. By way of example, i) the Joint Committee sets the limits of state aid that can be authorised by the UK for agriculture. If limits are not agreed, state aid may not be authorised.”

In other words, in those circumstances the UK would not be free to set levels of subsidy for UK agriculture, but the EU would remain free to adjust its Common Agricultural Policy however it liked. EU products would therefore have open access to the UK market via the customs union, while Brussels could stop us subsidising agriculture at all unless it was agreed in the Joint Committee.

‘Surrealism’: Iran blasts US claim its missile test violated UN resolution on nuclear deal

Top US and UK officials have accused Tehran of violating a UN Security Council resolution which endorsed an international nuclear deal. Iran hit back, saying the accusation from deal-breaking Washington was surreal.

On Saturday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declared that the Iranian military has tested an intermediate-range ballistic missile which “has the ability to hit parts of Europe and any location in the Middle East”. That, according to Pompeo violates UN Security Council Resolution 2231 which calls on Iran not to undertake any activity related to “ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons” as part of endorsing a nuclear deal with Tehran.

Firing back, the Iranian military said all their missile tests are meant to boost national defense by deterring potential attackers. Yet, they also neither confirmed, nor denied the test. Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif doubled down on that. He called Washington’s claim “surrealism” and “hypocrisy”, considering how it itself has violated it by withdrawing from the nuclear deal.

Pardoning Assange for any crime related to election hacking would automatically mean the Russian probe ends. Mueller’s entire basis for possible Trump-Russia collusion is WikiLeaks and the publication of stolen Democrat emails that were reportedly filched by the Russian government and then published in cahoots with Assange. That some Trump associates had knowledge of this and passed it along to Trump (a bold claim that has not yet been proven) is the whole reasoning for this ongoing farce.

UN Kicks Off Climate Summit With Alarmist Message — Act Now Or Face The Collapse Of Civilization

Sir David Attenborough kicked off the latest UN summit with a warning of “extinction” from global warming.

Thousands flew in from all over the world to attend the UN’s climate summit.

The UN spent months hyping the conference in order to convince world leaders to cut more emissions.

This year’s United Nations climate summit kicked off Monday with a narrative it’s been building in the media and at political conferences for months: act now or face catastrophe.

British broadcaster and natural historian Sir David Attenborough, purporting to speak on behalf of global peoples, warned “the collapse of our civilisations and the extinction of much of the natural world is on the horizon” if nothing is done to fight man-made global warming.

Nearly 30,000 United Nations officials, diplomats, environmental activists, journalists and academics traveled to the heart of Poland’s coal country in Silesia to negotiate the next steps of the Paris climate accord.

Attenborough did not mention the thousands of UN climate summit participants and observers who, like himself, who had to fly, drive or travel by rail to the conference in Poland. The UN has yet to disclose the conference’s full carbon footprint.

The UN set the tone for this year’s Conference of the Parties (COP) in October with the release of a dire report on the likelihood of keeping future global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius. That report warned of catastrophe if the world warmed too much, and resulted in months of warnings it was the “last chance” to solve the climate problem.

Of course, that’s the warning that’s usually given ahead of climate summits the UN wants to hype. Attenborough’s speech is the culmination of months of alarmism in the media and political conferences.

“The world’s people have spoken, time is running out, you to have to act now.” Attenborough said in a speech at the UN climate summit’s opening Monday. Attenborough called global warming the “greatest threat in thousands of years” to the planet.

The industry buried the results and pressed on with development of 5G networks, coming soon, and described as having a potential “weapons grade” effect on public health.

Lee then talks about the weedkiller company Monsanto which also worked hard to cover up their products’ cancer-causing side effects. “By now you’re seeing a trend,” Lee said. “It seems like Monsanto has known for years that Roundup causes cancer. And yet they did everything they could to cover up the studies.

“Big tobacco, big oil, big ag, big telecom; they will perpetrate any level of harm, of death and destruction…if it just means more profit.”

Meryl Streep: Trump’s ‘Children Are in Jeopardy,’ and ‘We Should Be Afraid’

Speaking at An Evening with Stephen Colbert at Newark’s New Jersey Performing Arts Center Saturday, Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep insisted that she is “scared” in Donald Trump’s America — mostly because she thinks Trump is dangerous.

During the Saturday evening event, Streep said she fears Trump because, like any parent, he will do “anything” to protect his children, Variety reported.

“I’m scared by (Trump),” Streep told Colbert. “By his possibility. I empathize with him. I can’t imagine what his 3 a.m. is like. There is a gathering storm. Everybody feels it. He feels it. His children are in jeopardy, and I feel that. I think, what if my children were jeopardy? I would do anything. Anything! To get them out of trouble. So we should be afraid.”

Presumably, the Mama Mia actress was referring to the fact that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation has targeted some of President Trump’s sons in his interminable, meandering, and unfocused investigation into “Russia collusion.”

Speaking of the Trump scions, Donald Trump Jr. himself slammed Streep early this year when he ridiculed the idea that Streep was the “only person in all of Hollywood who didn’t know Weinstein was a serial assaulter.”

Streep has been making a hash of politics for decades. As far back as 1989, Streep “testified” before Congress about the “dangers” of the food additive Alar based on her years of expertise because she played a farmer in a movie. The hysteria over the chemical ended up costing the apple industry $100 million, but years later, scientists found out that Alar was not at all harmful despite the scare whipped up by Streep and her cohorts.

Epstein pedophile scandal: Prince Andrew at risk once more as new court case begins

The Royal Family are being dragged back into the Jeffrey Epstein pedophile scandal, as a photo of the Queen’s son, Prince Andrew, with an alleged ‘underage prostitute’ is listed as an exhibit in a new US court case.

Victims of the American billionaire sex offender, Epstein, are to tell a Florida courtroom their stories of sexual abuse, Tuesday.

One witness, who may be called to the stand at Palm Beach County Court, is Virginia Roberts who claims that was she was both forced to have sex with Epstein and that she was “loaned out” to perform sex acts on his friends.

Roberts alleges that those friends include Prince Andrew, Duke of York, a claim the Royal has consistently denied.

The photograph shows the Prince with his arm around Roberts’ waist. It was taken at a London residence in March 2001, at which time Roberts would have been 17.

A Buckingham Palace spokesperson stated: “It is emphatically denied The Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts.”

The civil trial against Epstein was preceded by an explosive report in the Miami Herald that alleges that the billionaire’s powerful lawyers managed to pressure prosecutors, stopping him from receiving a significant jail time.

Epstein was jailed for 13 months in 2008 for soliciting girls for underage prostitution.

Then serving as the US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Alexander Acosta, negotiated a plea agreement for Epstein, sealing a 53-page FBI indictment against him and avoiding any federal criminal charges being brought against him.

Acosta is now Trump’s Secretary of Labor.

Top Cop Who Cleaned up NYC: Tackle London Crime Wave with Return to Traditional Policing

Bill Bratton, the former police chief credited with bringing crime under control in New York City, has urged British leaders to get a grip on knife crime with a return to “bobbies on the beat”.

The American, who served as Police Commissioner for a New York City which had become synonymous with violence and disorder but has now seen “28 straight years of overall crime decline”, wrote in British newspaper The Telegraph that no-one had taught him as much about policing as Sir Robert Peel, the late British prime minister who laid down the original principle of policing in 1829.

While “the economy, racism, poverty and even the weather can influence crime, the ultimate cause is quite simple: criminals,” explained the veteran police officer.

“Sir Robert Peel understood that the police must prevent crime, as well as respond to it. The mistake we made in the U.S. in the Seventies and Eighties, and which Britain seems to be making now, was to move the focus away from prevention,” he suggested, referring to the tendency of Britain’s dwindling number of frontline “response officers” to race to the scene of a crime after it has happened — or not, as is increasingly the case — instead of focusing on deterrence.

“[A]n important part of crime prevention is a strong visible police presence,” Bratton insisted.

Bratton explained how, “with murder and violent crime spiralling out of control” in the 1990s, his force implemented an American take on Britain’s now largely abandoned tradition of “bobbies on the beat”, deploying “an additional 6,000 officers to patrol the streets” — a move which would be anathema to British police leaders, who now scoff at beat patrols as “deploying resources in big hats or high visibility jackets to make the public feel safe”.

Bratton also described how, during his second term as New York City’s Police Commissioner in 2014, he concentrated resources against “5,000‑7,000 significant criminals” in a tactic described as “precision policing” — but this would also run into difficulty in Britain, as it would possibly involve focusing on individuals from particular ethnic groups which commit crime disproportionately and be deemed “racist”.

Finally, he emphasised the importance of tackling so-called “low-level” crime and disorder — the “broken windows” theory of policing — in order to deter more serious criminality, in what would be yet another inversion of what has become standard practice in Britain, where senior officers are no longer investigating or sometimes even recording a wide range of supposedly minor offences.

“The knife-crime epidemic sweeping Britain can be reversed and its cities made safer and fairer,” the American concluded.

“The 200-year-old principles of Sir Robert Peel are a good place to start.”

Journalist Killed in Western Mexico — 18th in 2018

A print journalist who covered public safety issues in Nayarit, Mexico, is dead after authorities found his remains off a dirt road. He was shot execution-style. This is the 18th Mexican journalist killed in 2018 and the first under the new presidency of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

Authorities confirmed the murder of Jesus Alejandro Marquez, an independent journalist who routinely collaborated with various outlets and was the founder and director of a local publication, Orion Informativo. Marquez was also an activist for Mexico’s new ruling party, MORENA, started by President Lopez Obrador.

Mexico’s Excelsior reports that Marquez left his home in Tepic over the weekend after receiving a phone call and went missing until authorities recovered his body off a dirt road near the city.

Author Jerome Corsi filed a criminal complaint against Special Counsel Robert Mueller for his attempts to seek false testimony against President Trump.

Conservative author Jerome Corsi on Monday filed a “criminal and ethics complaint” against Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team, accusing investigators of trying to bully him into giving “false testimony” against President Trump.

The complaint, which Corsi had threatened for days, is the latest escalation between Mueller’s team and its investigation targets.

The 78-page document, asserting the existence of a “slow-motion coup against the president,” was filed to a range of top law enforcement officials including Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, D.C.’s U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu and the Bar Disciplinary Counsel.

“Dr. Corsi has been criminally threatened and coerced to tell a lie and call it the truth,” the complaint states.

Corsi, who wrote the anti-President Obama book “The Obama Nation” and is connected with political operative Roger Stone, has claimed for the past week that he was being improperly pressured by Mueller’s team to strike a plea deal which he now says he won’t sign.
