The Nicene Creed has always seemed like a bad thing to me, basically stating that the clergy could put anything they want into the Bible/Scriptures as long as they stated it was the word of God. From my understanding that's what the Nicene Creed did, let clergy or higher ups in the church say whatever they said was the word of God. Don't follow everything that's stated in the Bible my friends, it's been misinterpreted and tainted by corrupt people of the day.
