French MPs To Launch "No Confidence Vote" Against Unpopular Macron

French Members of Parliment are set to launch a No Confidence vote against Emmanuel Macron as the President has become plagued by plummeting popularity poll numbers and nationwide unrest.

The vote will stem from left-wing opposition parties, such as the French Socialist Party, far-left Defiant France, and the Communist Party, who have all agreed to work together on the effort.

“We’ve decided to work together to file a no-confidence vote [to the government] next Monday,” First Secretary of the Socialist Party Olivier Faure said of the matter, according to Express UK.

“During the coming days, we will seek to increase the number of signatories. We have to show that other ways are possible.”

The assembly would hold a no-confidence motion within 48 hours of the request.

Under article 49 of the French constitution, a vote of no-confidence is a means for the National Assembly, on its own initiative, to force the government to resign.

Macron’s centrist Republic on the Move party has a strong majority in the 577-seat house, putting the no-confidence effort in an uphill battle.

Macron had faced similar votes in July after video surfaced of his personal bodyguard beating a May Day protester while wearing police gear. The president ultimately dogged the repercussions as the votes were defeated, solidifying his majority.

FBI Knew Steele Dossier Was Bogus Before Using In FISA Application: Solomon

A string of emails quietly requested by House Republicans for declassification by President Trump may be the smoking gun that the FBI and DOJ committed egregious abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), according to The Hill's John Solomon.

The email exchanges - kept from Congressional investigators for over two years, "included then-FBI Director James Comey, key FBI investigators in the Russia probe and lawyers in the DOJ’s national security division," according to the report - and took place in early to mid-October of 2016, prior to the FBI successfully securing a FISA warrant to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

The email exchanges show the FBI was aware — before it secured the now-infamous warrant — that there were intelligence community concerns about the reliability of the main evidence used to support it: the Christopher Steele dossier.

The exchanges also indicate FBI officials were aware that Steele, the former MI6 British intelligence operative then working as a confidential human source for the bureau, had contacts with news media reporters before the FISA warrant was secured. -The Hill

Two weeks after the FBI secured the FISA warrant using the Steele Dossier, Steele was fired by the FBI on November 1, 2016 for inappropriate communications with the news media.

Also withheld from both Congress and the general public until months later is the fact that Steele had been paid by Fusion GPS - an opposition research firm hired by Hillary Clinton and the DNC to dig up dirt on Donald Trump. Moreover, Steele absolutely hated Donald Trump.

And as Solomon notes; "If the FBI knew of his media contacts and the concerns about the reliability of his dossier before seeking the warrant, it would constitute a serious breach of FISA regulations and the trust that the FISA court places in the FBI."

It’s Official: Now There Is Proof Corrupt and Fired Former FBI Director James Comey Lied to the FISA Court to Spy on Candidate Trump

Yesterday it was reported that a long email chain was uncovered that provides evidence that former FBI Head James Comey and others in his inner circle signed and sent a FISA warrant application to the FISA Court and that they knew the FISA warrant was fraudulent.

Since the emails are labeled classified by the Deep State DOJ and FBI, Comey wanted to have his testimony in front of Congress this week in the open so he wouldn’t have to discuss his criminal actions like this one.

Yesterday, John Solomon from the Hill reported that a long email chain was uncovered that the Republican House members added to the list of documents they would like President Trump to un-classify and release to the American public.

Former FBI Director James Comey is reportedly in this long email chain which is dated October of 2016 – just before the FBI obtained its first FISA warrant on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.

“If these documents are released, the American public will have clear and convincing evidence to see the FISA warrant that escalated the Russia probe just before Election Day was flawed and the judges (were) misled,” one knowledgeable source told John Solomon.

The FBI acknowledged in the emails there were intelligence community concerns about the Steele dossier before they secured a FISA warrant.

The FBI knew Steele was talking to the media before they obtained a FISA warrant.

This is significant because the FBI has maintained for the last two years that they fired Christopher Steele after they obtained the FISA warrant after finding out he violated FBI protocol by speaking to the media.

The FBI used Michael Isikoff’s Yahoo News article as a source to corroborate the Steele dossier when presenting evidence to the FISC. If they knew Steele was Isikoff’s source, the FBI is guilty of circular intelligence reporting which of course is against protocol. They presented the two sources as independent which means they defrauded the FISC.

When Comey signed off on the FISA warrant request to the FISA Court to obtain a legal basis to spy on Carter Page and President Trump he lied.

Political censorship? Lecturer suspended for placing swastika over Israeli flag on Palestine slide

An Australian professor was suspended after showing his students a picture of an Israeli flag partially covered by a swastika during a lecture. The academic says the university has violated his right to “intellectual freedom.”

The University of Sydney suspended Tim Anderson, a senior lecturer in the department of political economy, after he showed the students the graphic of the Nazi symbol being placed over the Israeli flag. The picture accompanied text which compared Israeli and Palestinian attacks and deaths.

Prosecutors Resume Foreign Lobby Probe Of Podesta Group, Mercury Public Affairs

Federal prosecutors have recently resumed interviewing witnesses in an investigation of two lobbying firms that worked with former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, including one operated by the brother of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.

According to The Associated Press, prosecutors in New York have in recent weeks started contacting witnesses and attorneys as part of an investigation into the Podesta Group and Mercury Public Affairs.

The two firms worked with Manafort through 2014 on a consulting project aimed at fluffing the public image of former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych.

Prosecutors have also focused on Greg Craig, the former White House general counsel under then-President Barack Obama and a former partner at the firm Skadden Arps. CNN reported in September that prosecutors were weighing charges against Craig, who has since left his firm.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller had indicted Manafort on a slew of charges related to his work for a political party close to Yanukovych. Mueller reportedly referred the Podesta and Mercury matters to federal prosecutors in Manhattan.

Neither Tony Podesta, the founder of the Podesta Group, nor Vin Weber, the head of Mercury, have been accused of criminal wrongdoing.

Manafort, 69, was convicted in federal court in Virginia on Aug. 21 on money laundering and tax evasion charges related to his Ukraine profits. He was set to go to trial in Washington, D.C. on charges that he illegal acted as a foreign agent of Ukraine, but the longtime GOP operative entered a plea deal with Mueller’s team on Sept. 14, just before jury selection was set to begin.

Mueller has since moved to nullify that plea agreement, accusing Manafort of lying to prosecutors during meetings after entering the plea deal.

According to court filings submitted in Manafort’s case, the Podesta Group and Mercury Public Affairs failed to register as foreign agents of Ukraine despite knowing that they were working on behalf of Yanukovych.

And at Skadden Arps, Craig helped craft a report aimed at smearing one of Yanukovych’s political rivals.

Spielberg: 'Collective Hate' Worse Today Than When 'Schindler's List' Debuted

"[W]hen collective hate organizes and gets industrialized, then genocide follows."

Speaking with NBC in an extended interview published Wednesday, Steven Spielberg spoke about the re-release of his award-winning Holocaust drama, "Schindler's List," and how times have changed for the worse since.

"I think there is more at stake today than even back then," Spielberg told Lester Holt. "Individual hate is a terrible thing, but when collective hate organizes and gets industrialized, then genocide follows. We have to take it more seriously today than I think we have had to take it in a generation."

"Schindler's List" won seven Academy Awards in 1993, including Best Picture and Best Director. It tells the story of Oskar Schindler (brilliantly played by Liam Neeson), a German businessman who employed Jewish labor in his factory as a cover to save them. By the end of WWII, 1,200 Jews were saved thanks to Schindler's efforts. The film will be re-released in theaters across the U.S. and Canada for a limited run on December 7.

"I couldn't imagine based on the story that we told that an audience would tolerate just the amount of violence, human against human. Or inhuman against human," Spielberg told NBC. "I think everybody felt that we were memorializing something. I've only had this experience twice, one was shooting 'Schindler's List,' and the second time, it was very reverential, was shooting 'Lincoln.' The two times that I think the entire company came together to pay their respects."

"I don't think I'll ever do anything as important," Spielberg said. "So this, for me, is something that I will always be proudest of."

"I think this is maybe the most important time to re-release this film," he added. "Possibly now is even a more important time to re-release Schindler’s List than … when it was initially released."

It’s been 25 years since the release of “Schindler’s List” – and it’s coming back to the big screen.

Spielberg, who supported both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in their bids to become president, will be working with the former First Lady on a television show about the women's suffrage movement.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the progressive duo will be adapting Elaine Weiss' critically acclaimed book "The Woman's Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote," the rights of which were optioned by Spielberg's company Amblin Television.

Hillary Clinton will be stepping up as an executive producer and will play a pivotal role in selecting key talent.

"The book, published in March, follows the activists who led the decades-long fight to grant women the right to vote and sheds light on how close the battle to ratify the 19th Amendment really was," reports THR. "The book celebrates those who changed history and laid the foundation for the civil rights movement that came decades later."

It remains unclear at this point if the show will highlight that more Republicans voted for the 19th Amendment than Democrats.

Whistleblower Advocates, Attorneys Condemn FBI Raid On Clinton Foundation Whistleblower

Whistleblower activists condemned the FBI’s raid of a recognized whistleblower, Dennis Cain.

Cain had previously shared documents with Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

The documents contained potential wrongdoing regarding the Clinton Foundation, the Uranium One deal and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to Cain’s lawyer.

Whistleblower advocates across the political spectrum condemned an FBI raid on the home of a recognized whistleblower who reported potential wrongdoing surrounding the Clinton Foundation, the Uranium One deal and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The Daily Caller News Foundation, in a bombshell report, detailed how 16 FBI agents raided the home of Dennis Cain, a former employee of an FBI contractor, on Nov. 19. They rummaged through his home for six hours even though he told them that Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz awarded him whistleblower status, according to Cain’s lawyer, Michael Socarras.

Horowitz instructed a top aide to personally hand-carry the documents to the House and Senate intelligence committees over the summer after he received them from Cain, Socarras said.

Leftist London Mayor Calls for Brexit to Be Suspended If Commons Vote Fails

London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan has said that Prime Minister Theresa May should halt Brexit if her withdrawal agreement with the European Union is voted down in the House of Commons next week.

Speaking in Dublin, Ireland, on Thursday the Labour Party mayor claimed that leaving the EU free from its regulations in a “no deal” scenario, trading with the bloc on World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, would be the “worst possible outcome,” reports the Evening Standard.

“In my view, the prospect, the very notion, of a no-deal Brexit must be taken off the table by the British Government,” Khan said, before calling on the prime minister to “withdraw Article 50” — the legal mechanism to take the UK out of the EU — “if the British Parliament rejects her deal next week, which is looking extremely likely.”

“It would stop the clock that is ticking down towards a no-deal Brexit, and it would provide the breathing space to decide how we resolve this mess,” he added.

The London mayor is in Dublin to “bang the drum” for business ties between the city and London.

A fervent Europhile and Remain voter who has previously called for Brexit to be stopped, Khan plans to meet with the country’s Taoiseach (prime minister) Leo Varadkar, who threatened to ban British aeroplanes from his nation’s airspace after Brexit if the UK takes back control of its territorial fishing waters, and President Michael D Higgins.

The comments come after the Government was forced to publish the full legal advice by the Attorney-General, revealing the full extent of the Brexit betrayal.

Open drug dealing in Swedish cities as police allow it: “It’s risk-free, we lack resources”

The police in Gothenburg report that more and more people are selling drugs “completely openly” in the city. According to Robin Nilsson, head of the drug unit in Gothenburg, civilian officers are offered drugs to buy each work shift.

“We don’t have to work very hard to catch a drug dealer in Brunnsparken. We basically just have to go there. There are ten, fifteen, at a time that sell there.”, he says.

The police in both Stockholm and Uppsala confirm that there are now more drugs on the streets and that the gangs are getting bigger. One reason is the intensifying competition in the market which makes sales more visible to attract customers.

Another reason is the new secondary school law. Unaccompanied minors only need to submit an application to a secondary school to be able to remain in Sweden.

They can then continue drifting around on the streets, form gangs, join previously established criminal migrant gangs, commit crimes and both abuse and sell drugs.

Several patrol officers believe that the police authority itself is responsible for the development by completely neglecting to follow up and adapt its work. Most importantly, many of the police’s special drug units disappeared in connection with the reorganisation in 2015.

“They can sell completely openly. It is quite risk-free to sell drugs on the streets because we don’t have resources to take care of the problem”, Nilsson says.

Germany Launches ‘How to Identify Nazi Parents’ Guide For Schools

A new booklet for daycare workers that claims to help identify “Nazi parents” suggests looking out for girls with braided hair and athletic boys.

The 60-page booklet, entitled Ene, Mene, Muh – And You’re Out! was designed by the far-left “anti-hate” Amadeu Antonio Foundation ,which is headed by former Stasi informant Annette Kahane and based in Berlin with the foreword being written by Social Democrat (SPD) Family Minister Franziska Giffey, Berliner Kurier reports.

Ms Kahane made headlines in 2015 after the German government recruited her and the foundation to scour social media for “xenophobic posts” during the height of the migrant crisis.

Vice-Chairman of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) parliamentary group Nadine Schön slammed the booklet saying the case studies and suggestions were “absurd.”

“If educators should become overseers and correctors of parental convictions, that [crosses a line],” Schön said.

Labelling the practice “parenting espionage” — or spying on parents — the CDU politician criticised the aspects of the booklet that identifies the way children dress or how much physical activity they participate in as being potential signs their parents might be Nazis. saying it does not fit with democracy.

The Amadeu Antonio Foundation defended the booklet claiming that the case studies were based on real-life cases they had witnessed including a girl with braided hair whose parents turned out to be far-right extremists. They also admitted that since the release of the booklet their phones had been slammed with complaints.

The case studies echo research presented by Antifa groups in 2016, which claimed that “Volkisch families,” those who believe in countryside living and traditional German culture and values, posed a threat to Germany.

Antifascist Action group member Olaf Meyer warned of “young couples [who] buy farms and restore them together with their relatives and friends.”

The Amadeu Antonio Foundation has been roundly criticised in the past, not just for Kahane’s former Stasi ties but also for their methods which have been likened to the old East German secret police.

In 2016, the organisation was protested by the anti-mass migration youth activist Identitarian Movement which put up Stasi-logo stickers on the foundation’s Berlin office along with another sticker saying, “enter the surveillance state.” Kahane and the foundation later threatened to take the Identitarians to court over the incident.

Communist political oppression academic and Stasi expert Dr Hubertus Knabe also came out against Kahane in 2016, saying that it was “incomprehensible” to allow her the ability to have control over what people say online given her past.

The booklet has also sparked a petition on Change.org to cut the funding the foundation receives from German taxpayers, with over 5,500 signatures at the time of publication. The petition singles out the booklet saying, “The Amadeu Antonio Foundation, under the guise of fighting Hate Speech, is calling on citizens to denounce, report or criminalise other citizens.”

Official: Israel May Need to Enter Lebanon to Complete Anti-Hezbollah Operation

TEL AVIV – A senior Israeli official on Thursday said that Israel may need to take action inside Lebanon in order to achieve the goals of its ongoing operation on the northern border and destroy Hezbollah’s attack tunnels.

“It is possible that we will be required to act inside Lebanon,” the official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said according to a translation of his comments by the Times of Israel.

The cross-border tunnels “are wider and larger, and their goal is to transfer battalions, large forces, into Israeli territory, in order to come in and carry out a killing spree and kidnappings and to capture villages,” he said.

He added that the decision to launch Operation Northern Shield earlier this week was out of concern that details of the operation would be leaked to Hezbollah.

“If Hezbollah knew that we knew [about the existence of the tunnels] then this would accelerate their kidnapping efforts, and we did not want to get to a situation where the kidnappers infiltrate into Israel and abduct a soldier or a civilian, and no one would know anything about it,” the senior official said.

He also stated that the northern operation was one of the reasons the cabinet decided not to launch a major offensive against Hamas in Gaza following a barrage of 460 rockets in a 48-hour period last month, the official added. “There were other reasons too, but that was one of them,” he said.

Also on Thursday, the Jerusalem Post quoted another official saying that Russia has deployed forces on the Syrian-Lebanese border with the aim of preventing the transfer of weapons and precision-guided technology to Hezbollah.

According to the unnamed diplomatic source, Russian and Israeli efforts inside Syria have seriously impacted Hezbollah’s missile program, with the terror group only managing to convert a “few dozen” ordinary missiles into precision-guided ones.

Hezbollah had hoped by now to have converted thousands of missiles out of an estimated 140,000, the source said.

The comments came as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu briefed a group of foreign diplomats on the northern border.

“Israel’s expectation is unequivocal condemnation of Hezbollah, additional sanctions on Hezbollah, and condemnation and demand from the Lebanese government to stop granting permission to use its territory for these attacks on Israel,” he told 25 senior ambassadors from around the world.

“We are denying our enemies the weapon of tunnels systematically and decisively,” he said. “What we are doing with Hamas and with Hezbollah as well — we’re doing everything we need to do.”

“Anyone who attacks us — is taking his life into his hands,” he added. “Hezbollah knows this and Hamas knows that too.”

By the time the IDF’s operation is over, Hezbollah’s attack tunnels “will no longer exist,” the prime minister vowed.

Netanyahu also pointed to the hegemonic and nuclear aspirations of Hezbollah’s state-sponsor Iran.

“What we’re facing is one big enemy. That enemy is called Iran,” he said.

“Iran is trying to act on two levels: one is to develop a nuclear arsenal. We are dealing with that with other means including exposing the nuclear archive and the secret nuclear warehouse in Tehran. The second thing that Iran is doing is developing conventional weapons against us in their declared war to annihilate Israel. They declare so openly everyday.”

The UN and EU have condemned Hezbollah’s actions and expressed support for Operation Northern Shield.

“The building of tunnels from one country to another for military purposes is wholly unacceptable,” Stephen Dujarric, the spokesperson for UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said Wednesday.
