if you just tell people the truth, many/most will never really grasp how bad the situation was

if you have kids go thru Chinese-style essay-writing brainwashing…and then show them they were tricked by evil people, more of those kids will learn to question things and not just blindly follow their authority figures.
a lot of people cannot learn unless they live through something themselves
