This is why I have auto-update turned off. I also wonder if that is how UIDs and other such things can seem to be a bit off at times. I may refresh five or six times a bread, depending on how active I am. In theory, those of us who are very intermittent with our refreshes will only be very fleeting in the UID count. I am not sure what the decay rate on that is, though.

Dunning-Krueger is a bit of a blessing in diguise, sometimes. They aren't aware of their limitations and, thus, approach problems doubtlessly.

I can give a million reasons why something won't work - and then here comes a normie with a welder and a V8 engine to make it work a hell of a lot better than I thought it ever would. As such, I prefer to think of my role in life as being more of a facilitator. They tell me what they want to do, set out to do it, and rather than tell them why it won't work, to just give them the highest performing or most cost effective components.

And to make a lot of noise when someone is about to die from Dunning-Krueger. Because that can happen sometimes.

It would also be nice if we could lift some of the restraints on GPs. There are a lot of people out there who don't have a boyscout's or military upbringing … And a lot of simple first aid that would radically improve health outcomes is just not part of their mental toolkit.

A friend of mine had an infection for some time (months) that had been oozing puss. Cleared up in a week once I taught them how to do a peroxide flush and to put a dry gauze bandage over it (puncture wound).

There is a lot of basic care that is completely absent because doctors are completely overloaded and the laws are very restrictive on who can provide a lot of that basic care.

Circles are interesting things. Two halfs of a line do not equal the whole of a line. A ratio based math system compared to an integer math system.

Even so, a scalar 2d hexagonal field is useful for describing the reaction of fields when their ratios permit. You all need to stop peeking. I will publish when I am ready.

Hmm… Those might be a bit advanced concepts for illustrating the basics. Plus, there are no true points, simply ratios of the phases as they relate to each other. Modulation is necessary to account for the eliptical orbit of planets… But it can also be argued that the only "point" that matters is each cyclic completion, and modulation is simply trying to project our current concept of math into this other one.
