Obamacare violated the US Constitution in that bills of revenue must originate in the House. The bill was introduced and passed in the House as H.R. 3590 Service Members Home Ownership Tax Act of 2009. Upon being sent to committee in the Senate, the entire bill text except the purpose was replaced by amendment SA 2786. The title was then amended by reconciliation after passing in the Senate. The action of Pelosi, Reid and Chief Justice Kennedy blatantly violated the intent of the US Constitution as the bill that originated in the House was replaced by amendment with a revenue bill that originated in the Senate.

Govtrack provides a good history of the bill text and provides the following summary Feb 3, 2013:

“This is the Senate's health care bill. The bill started off with text regarding an unrelated matter but the Senate is co-opted this bill as a vehicle for passage of their reform and changed the text in whole to the health care bill. They do this because the Constitution requires all revenue bills to start in the House, and their health reform plan involves revenue. So they have chosen to work off of a bill that started in the House, even if that bill is unrelated.”

LA college district abolishes free speech zones as part of lawsuit settlement

A Los Angeles college student who sued his school for allegedly curbing his right to free speech after it prevented him from passing out copies of the U.S. Constitution was vindicated in court this week.

The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), which represents nine schools, including Pierce College, agreed on Wednesday to settle a lawsuit filed against them last year by student Kevin Shaw after he was barred from passing out copies of the document because he wasn’t in the school’s designated “free speech zone,” which measured 616 square feet or about the size of three parking spaces.

As a part of the settlement, the tiny area marked for students to exercise their first amendment rights will be abandoned altogether, revoking a district-wide policy that declared all property on the district’s nine campuses to be “non-public forums” with speech restrictions. As part of the settlement, LACCD will pay Shaw’s $225,000 in attorney fees.

“Though it was not without its difficulties, this experience has left me optimistic about the guiding principles of my country,” said Shaw in a statement provided to Fox News. “Folks of all political dispositions rallied behind this case to declare in no uncertain terms: freedom of speech is essential to the educational process.”

And during phone call McCabe "suggests" that to speed things along, to keep things casual and all, it'd be a good idea for Flynn to meet these agents just comin' over ta have a CHAT with no lawyer there.

And we find out before they went McCabe coached these two agents to be very careful to not tip off Flynn this was a CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION and for God's sake, don't do anything to alert him to the face he'll face CRIMINAL PENALTIES if they think he's lying to 'em.

Now, after LEARNING all this, Judge Sullivan said "Wow, I better review all these documents myself. Hand them over by 3 pm Tuesday, Dec 14."

There was no AMBIGUITY there. It was a direct order from the court. Even a very clever lawyer will find no wiggle room.

Instead of handing over what Judge Sullivan ordered them to hand over, the Mueller SC team decided they'd rather hand over a FD-302 interview done six months later of Peter Strzok being interviewed about the interview he did with Flynn.

Um…that's uh…NOT what Sullivan ordered them to hand over.

FBI policy is that a FD-302 form has to be filled out and filed within 5 days of the agent conducting the interview.

So as of today…the Mueller team still has not produced Strzok's actual 302 form from the Jan 24 Flynn interview.

Not only have they NOT produced that document, they today handed him a memorandum he didn't even ask for, a response to Flynn's filing from Tuesday.

So I fully expect to see Judge Sullivan toss this case on Tuesday, Dec. 18, and then rip these Mueller prosecutors a new one.

What they did here is just as bad as what the Ted Stevens prosecutors got caught doing, and it goes WAY higher right into leadership of the FBI.

Also note clearly what the Mueller filing is saying: there was no Russian collusion involving Flynn, there never was, the media is full of morons, and what they charged Flynn with doing was supposedly LYING TO PENCE AND OTHER WH OFFICIALS about his phone calls with Kislyak.

I think #1 is not correct. There was 302 written after the Flynn interview, and it was probably written by Pientka.

That 302 either was destroyed (by McCabe, likely) or it still exists and they are playing hide the ball.

Once they realized they were fucked, they created a 2nd 302 that Pientka was not a part of, and was just McCabe and Strzok, with Strzok giving his statement long after the fact.

Pientka being absent from any 302 discussion is telling.

Remember, McCabe is quoted as saying, "First, we fuck Flynn, then we fuck Trump."

They just re-wrote history to achieve their objective.

European Parliament Votes to Give €13 Billion Subsidy to Arms Companies Via European Defence Fund

Campaigners have condemned the decision of the European Parliament to support a €13 billion budget for the ‘European Defence Fund’ for 2021-2027.

The proposal was included in a report called ‘Establishing the European Defence Fund’ which was compiled by the Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE). This committee is formed by politicians from across the parliament.

The Commission proposed €13 billion for the fund for the period 2021-2027 (in current prices), of which €4.1 billion are to be allocated to research actions and €8.9 billion to development actions.

The concept of the fund was announced by President Juncker in 2016 and backed by the European Council later that year. Between 2017-2020, a total of €590 million will be channeled to the military industry through this fund in initial pilot projects. This spending will be totally eclipsed by the proposed increase.

The advisory group/ Group of Personalities that initially developed the policy was dominated by arms companies. This Group was made up of 16 members, 9 of which were from arms companies or private research groups. Six of the companies that have already benefited from pilot phase had members on the group.

Member States refused to exclude funding for the development of fully autonomous weapons in the 2019-2020 pilot phase of the Defence Fund, and the draft Regulation for 2021-2027 specifically mentions “disruptive technologies” as a focus, meaning weapons or technologies which “can radically change the concepts and conduct of” war, such as artificial intelligence.

Andrew Smith of Campaign Against Arms Trade said:

“This sets a very negative precedent and will see billions of pounds more of public money being used to subsidise arms companies.

The European Union was envisaged as a peaceful project, it should be investing in jobs and research projects that promote sustainable industries and contribute to the prevention of conflicts.

Whatever your views on Brexit and the UK’s role in Europe, it should not be using public money to fund research for companies that profit from war.”

This represents a major precedent for the EU – which had its roots in plans to bring peace to Europe. It has not funded these kinds of projects in the past. Last month, 42 campaign groups from across Europe issued a joint statement to oppose the fund. You can see it here.

Number of prisoners in Russia hits record low

Russia enjoys a record-low number of inmates, thanks to “humanization” of the penal code, deputy chief of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) has said, adding that the number of jailed people is expected to shrink further.

Over the past few years, the number of inmates in Russia has dropped by nearly 250,000, the FSIN deputy head, Valeriy Maksimenko, toldjournalists on Friday.

Currently, 467,000 people are serving jail terms, which is the lowest number in modern Russian history.

Apart from that, some 100,000 are in pre-trial and police custody, Maksimenko added. While the figure appears to be quite big, the number of such people actually shrank two-fold, compared to six years ago.

The decline in the number of the prisoners is the tangible result of “humanization” of Russian legislation, the official said. The number of inmates is expected to shrink further, as the authorities seek to put people behind bars only for capital offences, committed “against individual or state.”

A new law, signed by Vladimir Putin this summer, has also contributed to the reduction of inmate numbers, according to Maksimenko.

The legislation has set new rules for re-calculating time spent in pre-trial detention into jail days after sentencing. A day spent in pre-trial custody now counts as 1.5 days in jail for general security prisoners and as two days for low-security ones. For maximum and special-security prisoners, sentenced for serious and violent crimes, however, it goes day-for-day only. The new legislation has had a retroactive effect, and convicts had their jail time re-calculated according to the new rules.
