As a resident of one of the above states, I can attest to that. The ONLY way to clean up these states is with the DOJ coming in and arresting corrupt state employees and politicians. Madigan (IL House Speaker) has been in control since the 70s. He's the "real governor." Corrupt as fuck, state police won't investigate him until he retires (so he's gonna die in office). His daughter just "retired" as AG. The Chicago Machine needs to be dismantled and the state isn't gonna do it. Same with CA, NY, NJ, fuck, every state is corrupt it's just a question of HOW corrupt. Side note, majority of the sealed "indictments" (proceedings) are in the districts where the state capitals are located. That gives me a (TINY) bit of hope.
