TECHNO-LUDDITE RESEARCH AUTIST NEEDS TECH AND SECURITY ADVICE

(Serious genuine questions for tech/security genius anons…)

Hi, long time lurker-autist, need some honest and patient tech advice from the collective wisdom of our “human flesh search engine”.

I am very good with research and info, but weak with technology.

I am also very keen to start contributing.

I am sure plenty of other luddites have similar questions.

I have searched boards and boards for advice/instructions for weeks, but can’t find relevant answer(s).

We are told to “Archive Everything”, and for good reason.

I understand about the principle of backing up Q-posts, threads, memes, research on separate protected drives, maybe even separate locations with Faraday cages etc.

It is the actual practicalities of archiving/backing up the data that has me confused, and I don’t have any experts close by that I can ask without attracting undue attention.

So, for example, I have a list of data/archive addresses that I want to archive/save, (NOT REAL fileaddresses)-

1 http:// archive.is/AbcdEfg

2 http:// archive.is/HiJklmO

3 http:// archive.is/pQrStU

4 http:// archive.is/wXYZ01

And/or

Q1. How do I save them?

Is there a quicker way than cut and pasting each address into the top of a browser and right/left clicking to save?

Is there a way to feed them all into a program that will batch load and copy them automatically?

I am sure there must be, so which method/program is recommended for automatic batch loading/copying? I’m OK with buying a program if it works and it is deemed secure.

Q2. I live in a country which is under a shadow not of its own making, so what is the best way to protect myself when visiting the Chans, and also while downloading archives etc from places like “anonfile.com”?

Is there also any way to protect myself from a possible bad actor honeypot? For example, if someone posts links to conspiracyfact books that look interesting, I gather I am at the total mercy of their presumed good intentions if I then try to download some of them?

So, is a clean browser with a VPN enough? I remember reading somewhere that Tor is compromised. Is there any other or better alternative security precautions and/or solutions that are recommended by anons?

Thanks in advance for the help, anons, most appreciated and grateful to you all.
