Navyfag hear. One time recruiter also. Exceptions can be made for age limits, but requires a waiver to be signed off by some very high military officials. Generally speaking, unless the guy or gal has some badly needed skills the military is desperate for (or they have friends in the right places) their age waiver won't be accepted.

So the question we need to ask is, was this a friends in high places action? Or does Reince have some mad skillset the Navy desperately needs?

My thought: could this be a means to get him on the upcoming tribunals? How much does he know?

Can't say that is not out of the realm of possibility. But again, why?

It would be easier to understand if Reince had some high end medical skillset like brain surgery that the Navy (or Marines since we supply their medical) needs in conflict situations. But a lifelong politician? You wouldn't put someone like that into a conflict situation.

So that leaves overseeing a project. Question is, what project and where? Again, this is where I wonder if he's somehow going to be involved with the tribunals because of how much he knows of the swamp.
