With the coming pain of opening and prosecuting over 60K Indictments and the probable civil strife and WW FFs, would it be better to keep two seasoned Generals "in the rear" at "HQ" (The WH) or at the front(s) of skirmishes likely to start occurring here as well as abroad?

What if . . .

What if 14 months ago Trump and Kushner hatched a very clever plan to conscript the autists on 4Chan as an internet army to spread positive intel about Trump and negative info about his (our) enemies, , all the while making it seem as though highly placed military officers were running the show to instill confidence and hope that we had real muscle in our side for once? Let's say they watched /pol/ capture Shia LaBouef's flag in a very impressive display of hive mind teamwork and wondered how they could harness that intensity of resolve and raw smarts?

So along comes a dinner with Pentagon muckety-mucks in October of 2017, and Trump decides to parlay the gathering into a springboard for the plan. The top military leaders and their spouses are as in the dark about Trump's cryptic and slightly ominous "the calm before the storm" remark as the reporters are, but they don't show it because they're used to the way he talks.

So in late October Jared starts posting as Q on 4Chan, and the rest is history. We all assume it's Flynn or Mattis, or a group of military, but in reality it's just Kushner with Trump's complicity. It would explain a LOT of anomalies; some of them:

1. It's clear that after more than a year of failed promise after failed promise, and nothing of any real import happening (unless you count the continual drip drip of daily losses suffered by our side), there is a lot of unrest and unhappiness amongst the anons. That kind of abysmal track record can no longer be justified by the worn out excuse of "disinformation is necessary." If George Washington had demoralized his troops the way Q has demoralized and abused us, they would all have walked away from Valley Forge , Sun Tzu be damned.

1. It's always seemed incongruous that a serious and highly placed MI commander would use puerile, hackneyed, and ridiculously repetitive and meaningless phrases like,

1. We keep interpreting Trumps actions as 4D chess, but I believe he was going to cave on the shutdown until he saw which way the wind was blowing with his base. He doesn't have great military minds behind him at all; he's just a solitary man fighting a courageous lonely battle with a larping son-in-law.

1. There IS no visible panic, despite Q's claims to the contrary, by anyone in DC. Grahamnesty is back to his old deep state self today, Pelosi celebrating in a bar, Maxine still shooting off her mouth, yada yada. There is no fear, no angst amongst the Dems.

1. There is no Plan, unless you consider that WE are the plan. Why else would Q say big week coming up, or [D]5 and nothing ever comes of it? If there's no Plan with no muscle/NSA intel backup, then Trump and Kushner have no idea what the following week will bring.

I hate to say it, and I can't say I blame Trump, but we've been had. To steal Obama's campaign phrase, "We're the ones we've been waiting for. "

Only a few House members remained in the chamber late Wednesday night, preparing to vote on dozens of bills that would pass by voice vote. After six hours on the floor, Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., stood up and demanded that a quorum is in effect.

It seems like demanding a record of the vote is a small act, but Massie’s defiance against Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., had more profound implications. Massie took a stand against Ryan after House leadership added an amendment to the Farm Bill that suspended Congress’ war powers. Massie’s demand for Congress to reassert its constitutional powers and know what they’re voting on has caused a headache for the House GOP.

“Every year that I’ve been in Congress I’ve watched, with great frustration, the flood of bills that pass in the final week by voice vote and Unanimous Consent. Forcing roll call votes here draws the wrath of lots of my colleagues who just want to go home and who prefer not to be on the record,” Massie said in an email. “I decided this year to start objecting until the Speaker restores our War Powers privileges he suspended last week in the farm bill vote and until we get a complete list of bills they plan to pass. I think it’s pretty reasonable ask.”

In response to Massie’s efforts, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy announced that Congress would be voting on 35 bills on Thursday. Those bills included Veterans and Small Business Enhancement Act, Vehicular Terrorism Prevention Act of 2019, Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness and Advancing Innovation Act of 2018, Codifying Useful Regulatory Definitions Act, No Cyber Cooperation with Russia Act, Victims of Child Abuse Act Reauthorization Act of 2018, and the Elie Wiesel Genocide and Atrocities Prevention Act of 2018.

All of those bills were about to pass the House without so much as a debate or a record of which congressmen actually supported it.

Massie’s efforts to restoring Congress’ war powers stems from his anger at Ryan over a resolution embedded in the Farm Bill that ended the debate over America’s involvement in Yemen for the rest of this Congress. It passed the House by a slim 206 to 203 vote margin, with Massie being one of the bill’s most vocal critics along with 16 other Republicans. This vote came the same day that the Senate voted 56-41 to end U.S. support for Saudi Arabia in the Yemen War.

The House resolution stops the Senate bill from being considered in the House and thus continues America’s involvement in the Yemen War, which has caused more than 80,000 Yemeni children to starve to death.

“To avoid a debate on whether the US should be involved in a war in Yemen, today our leadership will trick members into suspending the provisions of the War Powers Act,” tweeted Massie on the day of the vote. “Sad!”

Massie remains the sole congressman willing to stand up to Paul Ryan on America’s involvement in the Yemen War and their inability to do their job and voting for the bills instead of passing them unanimously without debate.

Slatten was found guilty on Wednesday of first-degree murder in the slaying of Ahmed Haithem Ahmed Al Rubia'y. The murder took place in September 2007, when Slatten, working alongside three other men in a Blackwater security team, discharged his firearm at dozens of unarmed Iraqi civilians.

At the time, the Blackwater employees were escorting a US embassy envoy through Nisour Square in Baghdad, Iraq. Firearms were discharged after it was reportedly suspected that a vehicle carrying explosives was approaching the envoy.

"It's an amazingly important case," Zeese told Radio Sputnik's Loud & Clear on Thursday. "It's impressive that the prosecutors stayed with it after it was overturned and continued to prosecute."

Slatten first saw charges in 2008 before the case was initially thrown out. He landed back in court in 2013, was convicted in 2014 and sentenced to life in prison in 2015. However, that ruling didn't stick, as the US Court of Appeals decided in 2017 that Slatten deserved a new trial, according to NBC News.

"This got a lot of attention because this was such a blatant, massive attack into an area where lots of people were walking and driving. These kinds of attacks happened regularly," Zeese told hosts Brian Becker and John Kiriakou.

"This is part of a series of US war crimes in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries."

In September, John Bolton, the national security advisor to US President Donald Trump, threatened sanctions against the International Criminal Court (ICC) following reports that it was considering prosecuting US servicemembers over alleged war crimes in Afghanistan.
