Just watched Nancy and Chuck, and I've noticed Nancy's necklace before. If those green beads are in fact apple green translucent jade, as they appear, it would be worth in the neighborhood of $1M+. Heavy silk, large knots in between, hangs heavy. Is it jade? Just wondering. Somebody should suggest the IRS or the ethics oversight committee should request the appraisal foundation nominate three master gemologist appraisers to evaluate this necklace and perform country of origin analysis. If it is determined to be of significance, it can be returned to China without compensation to owner. (Per Obama interpretation of treaty regarding national treasures.)
