he spreads an alternate view of things

if you understand the things he's talking about he makes a fair amount of sense most of the time and a great deal of sense occasionally.

His views are not totally in alignment with the 'dumbed down common version' that is taught in schools until you reach the highest levels and actually need those alternative ideas to explain the phenomena involved.

try some antenna theory sometime and see if that doesn't change your views a bit.
