Soros is a sneaky, subversive rat. Trump loves adulation and recognition and … worship??. Which character traits better fit the Antichrist?
Your understanding may be right or may be wrong. I'm quite happy to hold a variety of views in tension until such a time as the Antichrist reveals himself by demanding to be worshipped AS GOD.

The thing that I take from Scripture as a clear identifier of the Antichrist is that he will demand to be worshipped as God. A bit like Nebuchadnezzar whom Daniel refused to bow down and worship.

Indeed - because He alone is worthy.
The Antichrist, a created being, can never be worthy. That's why he is called Antichrist because he demands what is due only to God, the Creator of all.
