Do New Statements by LV Police Contradict Official 2017 LV Shooting Story?

Q recently invited us to compare and contrast what the same people say at different times. We could also compare what different people say about the same event–like last year's Las Vegas shooting in Oct.

In the last few days, the statements of the officials who responded to the shooting were released. Laura Loomer found discrepancies between those statements and the official story. A link was posted on this board earlier today (#4533705) but no article (no wonder, considering its weird formatting; sorry, had to delete the statement "fragments"; see original article).

Below is the start of both articles (see CAPS for moar). They are very different. See what you think.

"Laura Loomer Uncovers Court Docs That Blows The Lid Off Vegas Massacre’s Official Story"

Documents released on Thursday from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department LVMPD point to multiple shooters and a contaminated crime scene in an already controversial investigation into the Las Vegas shooting over a year ago.

The LVMPD released 18 voluntary statements made by officers who responded to the shooting in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017. One of the documents that stood out from the rest was the sworn statement of Sergeant William Matchko (P#8525), document #11, in which he states the LVMPD knew of multiple shooters who they planned to wiretap after they discovered Stephen Paddock’s dead body in a suspected suicide.

In what is a routine procedure, officers are often asked to give a statement very soon after an event, commonly referred to as a witness officer interview. Matchko’s interview was conducted by the LVMPD – Force Investigation Team on October 3, 2017, at 6:40 PM, just two days after the Las Vegas shooting.

Matchko got to Mandalay Bay shortly after the shooting had stopped but joined the teams who eventually made their way into the room over an hour after the last shots were fired. Before the breach of room 32-135 at the Mandalay Bay hotel, the reported location where the shooting reportedly took place, he was overlooking the men who were making their way down the 100 wings towards 32-135.

In Sergeant Matchko’s statement, he described how upon entering room 32-135, he immediately realized that alleged Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock had been dead for a long time prior to SWAT entering the room.………….

"Police release officers’ accounts of Las Vegas shooting"

By KEN RITTER, 12-27-18

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Documents made public Thursday recounted anew how police officers took cover next to patrol vehicles on the Las Vegas Strip while a gunman rained bullets from a high-rise hotel into an outdoor music festival during the deadliest mass shooting in the nation’s modern history almost 15 months ago.

Also among statements from 18 of the hundreds of officers who responded to the shooting were accounts of police forming attack teams and working their way along hotel hallways in the Mandalay Bay resort before blasting with explosives through bullet-riddled doors of a 32nd-floor room to find shooter Stephen Paddock dead amid a cache of assault-style rifles.

One group advanced down the sides of a hallway where a hotel security guard had been wounded earlier, while another went downstairs to then come up an emergency exit stairwell close to Paddock’s door.

Actually, Jason Zimba is one of the leading writers of the math common core, maybe the best known. Gates Foundation big into funding but Bill didn't develop.

More stuff on Zimba; even he doesn't believe in CC math standards:

Jason Zimba, another “lead writer” of the CCSS math, holds a bachelors and masters in mathematics and another masters plus a doctorate in physics. Zimba once taught physics and mathematics at Bennington College; however, he is no longer there, and the link to his vita is dead. According to Zimba’s bio on the Student Achievement Partners (SAP) website (the company-gone-nonprofit that directed CCSS), Zimba has taught “disadvantaged high school students, and children of non-English speaking immigrants”; however, no details are provided regarding Zimba’s having any specific K-12 classroom teaching experience.

The Baton Rouge Advocate includes this very telling observation by Zimba regarding the suitability of CCSS math for “college readiness”:

Jason Zimba, a professor of physics and math at Bennington College in Vermont and lead writer of the math standards, says they include “an awful lot of algebra before eighth grade,” even though the first full course doesn’t come until high school.

But Zimba also acknowledges that ending with the Common Core in high school could preclude students from attending elite colleges. In many cases, the Core is not aligned with the expectations at the collegiate level. “If you want to take calculus your freshman year in college, you will need to take more mathematics than is in the Common Core,” Zimba said. [Emphasis added.]

Compare Zimba’s words to those from the Corestandards website:

To ensure all students are ready for success after high school, the Common Core State Standards establish clear, consistent guidelines for what every student should know and be able to do in math and English language arts from kindergarten through 12th grade.
