Players include the press, political operatives from both parties, and law enforcement and intelligence officials. Their instrument was the Steele dossier, first introduced to the American public two years ago.

A collection of reports compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele, the dossier is now engraved in contemporary U.S. history. First marketed as bedrock evidence that Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election, the dossier’s legitimacy took a hit after reports showed the Hillary Clinton campaign paid for the work.”

The dossier plays a central role in Robert Mueller’s probe. That claim is found in no other known document but the dossier. It is unclear whether further dossier allegations are in the redacted portions of the scope memo.”

Microbial transglutaminase present in processed foods is therefore a potential environmental cause of celiac disease.

 

Personally, I think celiac disease will eventually be found to be part of a spectrum of intestinal dysfunction rather than an all-or-nothing disease. Many, many people find relief from gluten-free diets who really don't have officially-defined celiac disease.

Myths about gluten are hard to bust. Intolerance, allergy, sensitivity, hypersensitivity. What is what?

 

Celiac disease is none of these things. It is an autoimmune disorder, where gluten triggers the immune system to attack the gut. It is common, lifelong, and can seriously harm health—but nobody knows for sure what causes it. Now a review in Frontiers in Pediatrics says a common food additive could both cause and trigger these autoimmune attacks, and calls for warnings on food labels pending further tests.

 

Environment causes celiac disease—but only in susceptible individuals

 

Gluten-free diets have become popular despite little or no evidence of benefit for most people. But for the 1 in 100 with celiac disease, even a mouthful of bread can trigger an immune response that damages the small intestine, impairing nutrient absorption.

 

Exactly what causes this autoimmune reaction to gluten—a protein found in wheat, rye and barley—is uncertain. Specific mutations in an important immunity-related gene called HLA-DQ seem to be necessary for developing celiac disease, with one of two HLA-DQ variants present in virtually every sufferer—but insufficient, as these variants are also present in about 30% of the general population.

 

As a result, myriad environmental factors have proposed to interact with genetic risk to cause celiac disease. These span infections, food and toxins; vaccination, drugs and surgery. Most recently, food additives have been suggested to contribute. Among these, microbial transglutaminase—a bacterial enzyme heavily used in industrial processing of meat, dairy, baked and other food products—has emerged as a likely culprit, according to the new review.

 

How a food binder could be our undoing

 

"Microbial transglutaminase can glue together proteins, so it's used to improve food texture, palatability and shelf-life," says co-author Aaron Lerner, visiting professor at the Aesku.Kipp Institute in Germany. "This enzyme functions like the transglutaminase produced by our body, which is known to be the target of autoimmunity in celiac disease."

 

There is a direct positive correlation between rising use of industrial enzymes in bakery products and rising incidence of celiac disease in the last four decades, according to Lerner and co-author Dr. Matthias Torsten of the Aesku.KIPP Insritute, Germany. But if transglutaminase is produced normally in our tissues—and by our own gut microbes—what difference should a little more in our diet make?

 

"This is mostly a question of scale," argues Lerner. "Our own transglutaminase has a different structure to the microbial sort, which allows its activity to be tightly controlled. And while the relatively indiscriminate microbial transglutaminase is produced by some of our normal gut fauna, the amount of the enzyme could be significantly increased when this microbial population is altered by factors like infection, antibiotics or stress—or, indeed, through consumption of industrially processed foods."

Gluten is tough to break down completely. This is useful for helping baked goods to rise and keep their shape, but in celiac sufferers presents a problem.

LONDON—An independent peoples’ tribunal is examining evidence claiming to show that the Chinese state is targeting innocent prisoners of conscience and forcibly carving out their internal organs for transplants and profit. Three days of public hearings began on Dec. 8 in the heart of London’s legal district, in which witnesses from across the globe gave their testimonies on the disturbing practice of forced organ harvesting. Chaired by Sir Geoffrey Nice QC, the people’s tribunal will, in his words, be looking at the evidence of forced organ harvesting in China afresh—with no assumptions. Further hearings are scheduled to take place early next year, followed by a report of the findings.

 

Emotional and Painful The atmosphere during the Dec. 8 hearing in Holborn was serious, and for some, emotional, and painful. Among the witnesses who testified to Sir Geoffrey and a panel of six experts, were three Chinese refugees who said they fled from persecution in China. All refugees spoke separately of being detained in China for their faith in Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been brutally suppressed in China for over 19 years. Torture methods described by the refugees included electrocution, sexual harassment, forced feeding, and starvation.

 

But they all spoke of having physical examinations, too. Feng Hollis, who was arrested in 2005, said that at the time she wondered why she was given a medical test after being tortured in prison. In a press briefing before the hearings, Susie Hughes, executive director of the International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC), said an increase in transplant activity in China coincided with the repression of Falun Gong. “During the 2000s, analysis of various sources of emerging evidence led to the conclusion that people who practiced Falun Gong were being killed to provide the organs fuelling China’s transplant boom,” she said.

 

Research from human rights lawyer David Matas, a witness on Dec. 8, has found that the number of transplants from voluntary donors and death-row prisoners is far from the total number of transplants taking place in China.

The department said that after 34 releases of material since May, officials believe they have complied with a court order in a public records lawsuit about the Oct. 1, 2017, shooting. California to Remove Up to 1.5 Million Inactive Voters From Registration Rolls to Settle Lawsuit

 

The State of California and Los Angeles County agreed to remove up to 1.5 million inactive voters from voter rolls Dec. 3 in order to settle a federal lawsuit brought by a watchdog group. The settlement agreement (pdf), filed Dec. 3 with U.S. District Court Judge Manuel Real, requires the state and the county to notify all of the 1.5 million potentially ineligible voters and remove them from voter rolls if there is no response.

 

The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) requires states to remove inactive registrations from voter rolls after two general federal elections. Most inactive registrations belong to voters who have moved to another county or state or have passed away, according to Judicial Watch. As part of the settlement, California Secretary of State Alex Padilla agreed to update the state’s NVRA manuals and to notify election officials in each county that they are obligated to regularly clean up voter rolls.

 

The lawsuit revealed that Los Angeles has the highest number of inactive registrations of any county in the nation, with one in every five registrations being inactive. “This settlement vindicates Judicial Watch’s groundbreaking lawsuits to clean up state voter rolls to help ensure cleaner elections,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement. “Judicial Watch and its clients are thrilled with this historic settlement that will clean up election rolls in Los Angeles County and California—and set a nationwide precedent to ensure that states take reasonable steps to ensure that dead and other ineligible voters are removed from the rolls.”

 

Judicial Watch settled similar statewide challenges in Ohio and Kentucky in 2014 and 2018 respectively. The watchdog also forced the state of Indiana to voluntarily clean up voter rolls and is engaged in an ongoing lawsuit with the State of Maryland.

 

Judicial Watch alleged in a 2017 lawsuit that Los Angeles County has a registration rate of 112 percent of its age-eligible citizens. The watchdog group alleged, using data published by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, that 11 of California’s 58 counties had registration rates exceeding 100 percent of age-eligible citizens. California, the most populous state in the union, has a registration rate of approximately 101 percent of age-eligible citizens, the lawsuit alleged. Planefag checking in. Just to re-cap, another Planefag notde 13 arrivals at Bill & Hillary Clinton Airport, Arkansas. I noted two AZAZ0909 flights, one out of Davison AAF, the other out of Andrews AFB. That makes at least 15 and I'm sure that were/are others that weren't documented on the arrivals tables. It was mental and I struggled to keep track.

From my POV and experience; the difference between intolerance and allergy is 1) Intolerance affects the tissue/organ that has"direct" contact with.

2) Allergic reactions trigger swelling

 

I have a pretty bad intolerance for Sulfa's - causes my throat/Esophagus to bleed, quite a bit, really it just shredded my throat. I couldn't swallow anything w/out terrible pain, lasted about a day. I'm also allergic to plenty of antibiotics but my reactions were mild, basically got hives.

 

Hyper/Sensitive - the Happy thru tortured face rating system works better. Hope that helped.

Do New Statements by LV Police Contradict Official 2017 LV Shooting Story?

 

Q recently invited us to compare and contrast what the same people say at different times. We could also compare what different people say about the same event–like last year's Las Vegas shooting in Oct.

 

In the last few days, the statements of the officials who responded to the shooting were released. Laura Loomer found discrepancies between those statements and the official story. "Laura Loomer Uncovers Court Docs That Blows The Lid Off Vegas Massacre’s Official Story"

 

Documents released on Thursday from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department LVMPD point to multiple shooters and a contaminated crime scene in an already controversial investigation into the Las Vegas shooting over a year ago.

 

The LVMPD released 18 voluntary statements made by officers who responded to the shooting in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017. One of the documents that stood out from the rest was the sworn statement of Sergeant William Matchko (P#8525), document #11, in which he states the LVMPD knew of multiple shooters who they planned to wiretap after they discovered Stephen Paddock’s dead body in a suspected suicide.

 

In what is a routine procedure, officers are often asked to give a statement very soon after an event, commonly referred to as a witness officer interview. Matchko’s interview was conducted by the LVMPD – Force Investigation Team on October 3, 2017, at 6:40 PM, just two days after the Las Vegas shooting.

 

Matchko got to Mandalay Bay shortly after the shooting had stopped but joined the teams who eventually made their way into the room over an hour after the last shots were fired. Before the breach of room 32-135 at the Mandalay Bay hotel, the reported location where the shooting reportedly took place, he was overlooking the men who were making their way down the 100 wings towards 32-135.

 

In Sergeant Matchko’s statement, he described how upon entering room 32-135, he immediately realized that alleged Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock had been dead for a long time prior to SWAT entering the room.………….

Similar to my story. I learned to read early and since I grew up in the country, I read to escape boredom. Small town school was extremely boring and too slow for my fast pace of learning. This was before accelerated programs. Dropped out of high school and got a GED nine years later, with no studying beforehand. On reading comprehension, I scored higher than 98% of graduating seniors. Ha! and that was back when they actually tried to teach students to read.

The tax evasion strategy is called a 'Double Irish, Dutch Sandwich'

It legally allows companies to channel profits through an Irish company then a Dutch one to a subsidiary based in a place with no income tax like Bermuda

However, the practice may be illegal by 2020 due to reforms by the U.S. and E.U.

Google Netherlands Holdings BV paid $3.8million in taxes in the Netherlands in 2017

Google moved a whopping $22.7billion to a tax haven in Bermuda in 2017 to avoid paying foreign taxes, a new report reveals.

 

The move was made through a Dutch shell company called Google Netherlands Holdings BV, according to documents filed at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

 

The amount filed through was $4.5billion more than the amount in 2016.
