groups like this will always alienate unpopular opinions, and group think will be prevalent. This movement, while group think is already huge, is largely about people learning to think for themselves. I was part of a group like this for a while and watched people come and go as they were either kicked for not assimilating, or left because they saw how it was and knew better. i don't know how else to explain it.
pretty sure the prevailing understanding of light speed is that it is not quite constant, and likely varies throughout the universe/galaxy, etc.
