Those we call "shills" have mastered the art of infiltration to the extent that they have risen to the top levels of most western governments and their intelligence agencies. What "weeding out in the recruitment process" do you expect to be able to implement? The reason that this place has been to difficult for them to control is that there is NO assumption of benevolence. Thus we remain continually suspicious of everyone and are continually evaluating everything critically.

>If light did not have mass, would it not just continue into space without bending?

It does go in a straight line. It's the space that's not straight.

>Everything has mass, including light.

Light has no Higg's interaction, it's energy does not manifest as mass. If it had any mass then it would not go as fast as it does.

>pretty sure the prevailing understanding of light speed is that it is not quite constant,

The speed of light is absolutely and illogically constant (as long as it's traveling through a vacuum). That how they discovered relativity.

>Photons (light) only has mass when it is moving. 0 mass at rest.

Photons have energy but no mass. And then can never not be moving.

Yeah, I know it's a slide. But I'm sick of debating watches.

Because E=mc^2 is not the whole formula. The whole formula (pic related) includes momentum (which does not actually require mass). Thus energy can be equivalent to momentum, not only mass. And photons DO carry momentum.
